Everyone is different,like mine is 5.75" from center of the d loop. 6 inches is a good start.

If your arrows are hitting too high, move it down. If they're hitting to low, move it up. To get a rough starting position, you could draw, and find the part of the string directly between your eye and the sight, and put it there.

I had an archery store put a new string on my bow and now when I draw back, the peep sight is on an angle and pushing my shots off to one side. Do you have any recommendations to remedy this?

i like those peep ties they are able to slide up or down for your perfect peep alignment right? the only problem people say is that over time it might slide out of place for your original alignment. would you agree with this? also how would you remove those ties if you have to i know thats really complicated. please let me know this would be very helpful

no, in first minute it was also about separate bowstring and fit a peep sight ;). Then to calibrate position, it's much easier to shift a viewfinder.

I am new to archery, what is the purpose of the tubing of peep sight?

The tubing is stretchy rubber, so when you draw back the bow and the main string goes back it pulls on the tubing and thus aligns the peep sight square to you. This way you and the sight will always be square to the sight pins.

My PSE Stinger Extreme bus cable isn't inline with the peep sight. Will a tube peep sight still work?

apparently ensures the peep is aligned, as when bow is drawn- string will rotate a bit an no good lookin sideways thru a peep :)

+Declan Whitticase it clarifies your view while looking through a magnified scope... it also acts like a rifle sight, signing up to points, rather than just one. Giving you greater accuracy... Hope that helps?

Nice vid but what if I need to adjust the sight and sometimes the peep sight will fall out if it isn't done right and that knot you just done is mint! I would hate to undo it, any tip on that sort of thing? Maybe after getting more comfortable with your shooting and then need to adjust. thanks
