The road legal Sur-Ron Lightbee is the L1e. This comes with a rear mudguard and light cluster that some like to move up undernear the seat. This video shows you how! Link to product used: www.surronsouth.co.uk/sur-ron...
When you take the bracket out off the axle, there isn't enough thread on the axle to do the wheel nut up fully 🤦♂️so the wheel isn't pinched up between the swingarm!
Where would you recommend to place a L plate after this conversion? I currently have it under my licence plate. Would it be visible if I put it over my rear shock cover?
Great video, does anyone know if you can buy the "street legal" version in USA? It comes with mirrors, blinkers, and turn signals, and is available in other countries.
HELLO, I AM JORDI AND I AM VERY INTERESTED IN KNOWING THE REFERENCE OF THE PRODUCT AND WHERE TO BUY IT, COULD YOU GIVE ME THAT INFORMATION ?, THANKS FROM BARCELONA.
nothin mate....its for china...some say thay got it workin in the uk but not to sure ....if the app can be converted to english then maybe it could work..
no reflector mount....... USELESS......im going to spill the beans ........this is NOT worth 75 pounds...... the fit is bad to say the least....the reason you dont see him fit the plastics back under the seat is becouse for a rearly nice factory looking fit you need to modify it where it meets the tail-tidy otherwise it just kicks up the back mud guard...dont get me wrong if your handy with a hacksaw and a stanley blade the finished result is great.....but dont think that this is a plug and play item becouse its not...and lets be honest for that money it should fit itself to the bike....the most expensive tailtidy bracket on the market.
Sad this Tail Tidy isn't street legal in France, we have max 30° Tilt angle , You can't respect this with a tail tidy cause the plate slams into the tire on little bumps ...
its not legal in all of europe. Kinda sad, id definitely get a sur ron but not with that ugly mud guard, and as long theres no legal way to have a different mud guard i wont buy one
