Very good video I’m just about to purchase a rusty lee 3/4 bed as I did from you a double swivel base the workman ship is quality I see what the other guy has said an yes they are double in price and you can get cheaper but for me it’s about safety and these have been tested in Europe and gold certified that’s what I like and the video is very helpful thanks guys 👍
Thank you for the kind words. Yes they are exceptional items. Please consider placing your order via www.combevalleycampers.co.uk as it really helps us out as a channel. Regards, Leigh
Hi Lee glad you well mate , I have nearly finished my build 👍. Can you advise does a porta potti thetford 335 fit under rusty lee 3\4 bed . Or is it just the rib fixed bed only.cheers mart
Don't you just hate all the (hidden) different configurations of the Transporters through the years...? What looked like a simple bolt-on job, turned out to be a bit more involved. And adding half a day...
Thats on you my man. At the time you posted you couldn't have watched the whole video wmeither so you may well not have seen the high quality of the bed system. Personally I wouldn't put a price on my familys' safety. Also if you have seen the higher price of lesser quality beds, tested to lower standards then you'd see this is worth it all day long.
@@vdubster Exactly they know people prefer to keep there family safe and will pay the extortionate amount for the tested bed, your not getting £1500 worth of bed,
@@daz575 Theres not £1200-1500 of material and labour in the bed but the R&D and testing costs needs to be soaked up or a buisness no longer is a buisness but a charity. Ive been looking at a RIB 130 and that would have ran me atleast another £1000 on top so im glad this video has been shared and prompted me to check out Rusty Lee's.
@@CombeValleyCampers I did watch it first and it dose look well made, and I’m sure the testing isn’t cheap and there’s a lot of work gone in to it,but to me there still over priced If they was more affordable they would struggle to keep up with demand, your right you can’t put a price on safety that’s why Volvo didn’t Patent the three point seat belt in the 1950s as the safety of others was more important, I understand a small company can’t be so generous but they can certainly make them affordable if safety is there biggest concern and not profit
