Best aux video I just got my focus zetec 2007 and this was perfect everyone else is buying those adapters for my ur glove box I just wanted the aux cable straight in the stereo thanks mate !
not sure probably same thing aux or to connect phone the wires go into harness maybe ford just locate the wires and connect up. Everything worked fine since.
What cable/connection are you using there? What’s the difference between doing this and attaching a Ford aux port to the connection behind the glovebox? Managed to find that and looks like I may not have needed to. Thanks!
I know that this is an old video by now but do you know if the yellow-black wire and the yellow-brown wire in the lower connection are remote wires and do you use them? It says so in a diagram i found but im unsure.
At 1:12 that white part that is not connected to the radio any idea what it is? I have the same thing for my radio 6000cd and today I have taken it out just like in this video and the radio works just as before so not quite sure what it actually adds to it
Jonesz fezz puresince1999 what code did you put in when the radio resets? I just did it now and it’s counting down from 29 minutes and the number I have to put in is 6 digits but I can only put 4
Instaled it and works great but now i cant talk on the phone using bluetooth in the car ( there is connection but they dont hear me). why? Did i disconect a microfone or something?
The unit you are fitting will no fit my cd6000. Mine is a four pin, all well and good so far. But that will not fit when the other cluster goes on. Sound weird?
it work for me and others, make sure you got the right bits I order an cd6000 aux cable with the 4 keys and put it in the back of the stereo and it worked.
