Have just installed these on my ranger put 1 on each side as I recon will last longer and needs it for the weight

The back end of that EU version Ranger looks wack compared to USA version

Does this work on the American 2019 version ?

I tried fitting your kit today on my 68 plate wildtrak, once everything was in place I closed the tailgate but the hook on the tailgate which holds the cable hits the damper! I have removed and returned the original set up. Please advise/help

BS.... what do you do when you remove the tailgate for any reason

Wouldn't u need a damper for the other side to even out the weight?

What is the purpose of the retainer spring?

Does the damper cause any added resistance to closing the tail gate?

Is the T7 a reference to the U.S. model?

Ford should've made this standard. My wife's Colorado came equipped with damper. Thanks for posting instructions.
