If you do it measuring from the back and the recess is different sizes left to right the blind will look bent to the eye. If it’s straight (square) it will be fine though

Thanks for subtitles. I have a problem trying to clip on headrail but it fall down. I tried hammer to get it clipped. So I need a experienced fitter to clip it. How you clip with ease!
You didn't explain which way up the weighted pieces go at the bottom, I fitted them the wrong way up on the first attempt, or how to put the chain across the bottom. But otherwise a good video, thanks.
Sorry about that, when we deliver our vertical blinds the weights are already in the slats, so we did not do that process in the video, but anyway glad you liked it

Hi Pauline, If there is a lintel above the window where you need to screw the clips into. The easiest way is to use a 2 or 3 mm metal drill bit, to drill a pilot hole in the lintel . Then you need to use some special metal self tapping screws. If you are in the UK screwfix sell some.
