How To Fix 5GHz WIFI Not Showing Up On Extender Or Any Device

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I've been searching for months for a solution and this did the trick. Everyone kept telling me to check my device settings despite the fact that all of my devices all of a sudden lost connection with my 5g network. I knew it was a router issue, this did the trick!!!

That channel changing worked for me. Thank you. My vodafone giga tv was not detecting this router but other devices were detecting. Changing channel to 36 worked.

Thanks for this video. Very helpful and worked fine for my AX1800 and RE605 combo (both supporting WiFi 6 standards). This should be included in the official troubleshoot section of their official website. Although the troubleshoot steps does mention about the channel selection. This step should be highly advised.

I have this same issue, I tried channel shaping on 5g on my dlink and the 5g dissapeared. It appears and connects on 1 phone, but not show up on other phone

I am using Dlink dual band router, but I can't able to connect to 5ghz and it's not showing me 5ghz to connect.

The channel settings for 5GHz needs to be performed on which router in case of WDS bridging. Donor Router or Receiver Router Didn't work for me as still limited to 2GHz band only

I bought a tenda AC6 AC1200 Dual Band WIFI router and I'm trying to use my old Tenda F3 N300 in Universal repeater mode with the new one. But the problem is when I try to set it to universal repeater mode it asks me to select upstream WIFI name and my WIFI name is not showing up in the list, I am 100 in range and that's not a problem. But I don't know what seems to be the issue. Do you guys know?

i have an issue : when i setup my Xioame repeater i had one issue in one step which is "connect to Wifi router" actually it's not my router , it's a main shared router for many apartments . so what do you think the main reason ?

For JIO routers: All those trying to fix this problem for Jio Routers which do not allow changing channels, login into your IP address account (Jio Centrum). Then click on the search button on top right corner of the page and type in "5G". You will see "Network >> Basic Configuration 5 GHz" come up. Select that and when the "BASIC CONFIGURATION 5 GHz" page opens up CHANGE THE CHANNEL SPACING to 20/40MHz. Save this change and then try scanning again for 5G connection on your extender. It should work now. My Extender model: TP-Link RE605X. (This solution was posted by "RiturajBgohainon" a TP-Link community forum. Massive thanks to this individual.)

My TP-Link extender doesn't show 5G network which I tether from Poco M6 Pro Hotspot at 5GHz settings. However when I tether from OnePlus 11 Hotspot with same 5GHz settings. It does show up. Any idea how to change the band for Poco Phones hotspot ?

I have Samsung note 9 phone. It is compatible for 5g wifi network. I had 60mbps wifi plan on 2.4ghz router. I decided to upgrade my plan from 60mbps to 100mbps plan, so i needed 5ghz router. The technicians of wifi providing service team came and installed 5ghz router and setup all the details. So as soon as they setup everything i got Usama and Usama5G on my phone which is my wifi name. So i connected to Usama5G to check whether i am getting full speed. Then i checked speed 2 times and then restarted my router. So after restarting the router i can't see Usama5G anymore in my phone. But it is still showing in those technicians phones. We did everything. Restarted my phone 3 times. Reset the router 2 times. But still Usama5G is not showing anymore on my phone. Please help me someone. What should i do now?
