This video is about recovering a bricked bq9003 chip with dji battery killer software. This battery is dji mavic pro 2. We tried to change cell charging voltage and bricked.

Great video it was very informative and well thought out even though It was not what I was looking for I still was interested in what you were doing. I do have a question about replacing cells in a dji mini 2 battery with the BQ9003 chip. Would I be able to unbrick the chip after using this after I replaced cells in it?

I left my battery unused for 3 years and it will not turn on anymore or charge . will this method work without the power supply/battery charger , I bought the cp2112 and jumper cables for the connection do i need anything other than that? thank you.

3yr battery?? It will not hold charge if you charge it. And also without wake up the chip, it will.not give values, it is in the sleep state . Apply 6 volt to battery terminals and wake up the chip then read values, if you are lucky chip will awake and show readings, after that chagrge each cells upto 4 volt , also check the battery chemistry. Then read the battery again if the fuse is ok, it will discharge voltage. But u need to clear the pf flag before that. So many things needed to check and clear before it connect to anywhere. Try ur self. But i dont recommend to use this 3 yr old battery . So if anything happens take responsibilty. Be careful , feel free to ask anything

Im thinking of buying a replacement since the battery is probably dead its available in my country but very expensive would you recommend third party batterys ?. Thanks alot :D

I'm trying to reset the pf flag on a dji fpv battery board I've hacked to use normal batteries but I went too low I guess and tripped the flag. Apparently I need the bq9006 version of the software...do you know where this comes from? I can only find sketchy links to places.

I made the connection without opening the battery and connected it together with its charger and was able to restore one, but my other battery recognizes it and reset its parameters with the software but it still does not turn on its LEDs or charge, what could it be? is for mavic 2 pro and the battery model is FB2

Charging voltage is mentioned on the battery. Read and give correct voltage

Hey man. great video. quick question I have DJI mini 2 and I would like to swap the 4.4 Lipo to 4.2 volt 18650 (2500 Mah at 8C) Li ion battery. Is it possible to change the charging voltage from 4.4 to 4.2 using this software? These 4.4 volt Lipos are unavailable here. This would be a great swap if it work due to it's low cost.

Yes, its possible to change the charging voltage by changing Eoc its available on internet, some guy did it on youtube.

We can use dji killer to change eoc, identify which chip is on pcb and if it is supported we can change. Did you able to unseal the chip? Then we can try.

If the battery respond to commands yes, there are some commands to know the battery model , chip and firmware version
