Happy new year! There iz a lot to learn! Never use pliers on a screw! It will destroy it. Further you couldhave glued thedoor and use a clamp to fix! My conclusion 4 out of 10!
It probably won't last with the wood split,get wood glue fill the split and clamp it for a day then put your filler piece in with screws and wood glue.
No, I don't have anything special unfortunately. Just a basic Sony Handycam (cheapest model) and use the microphone on my Asia laptop to voice over. I do have a couple GoPros as well but rarely get to use them.
