On my XF8 my guitar slid and whacked into my A key at the top of the keyboard. It sticks some, now. It's so way at the high end that I haven't worried about replacing it. But this video is informative and I might give it a try at doing the job myself. Thanks.
It’s actually not too hard. My vacuum cleaner tipped over and whacked my key. On the XF8 you don’t even have to go under the bottom of the keyboard. Also check out my part II VIdeo For more in depth information on removing keys and more. Good luck! 🙂

a guy using the MOTIF said you don't have to take of the 2 sides. Is this because it is a MOTIF XF ? is the MOTIF XF different for replacing keys vs the previous ones ES ? He had to remove all the screws on the bottom too of the keyboard. So the motif xf 8 must be different?
Yes the Motif XF8 is a lot easier. You don't have to go under the bottom at all. All you have to do is remove the 2 sides, the 3 & 4 screws that are revealed once you take the side panels off , and the 7 small screws on the back. Then you can lift the face up. This is for the "8" only, I think that the XF6 and XF7 may be a little different.
Kid Icarus I don’t know about the Xs8 to help you with that model. I have an S90es which has 88 keys like the XF8 but is totally different assembly wise.
Thank you for that information I will look into that. I originally tried loosening some of the screws on the front rail, at least I thought I was but it wasn’t budging lol
+Jade Pascual Sorry for just now seeing this, but the company called Syntaur.com has keys for the motif and other keyboards. The good thing is that I beleive all the sharp and flat keys for the motif 6 are interchangeable. You have to take the surrounding white keys first they you can remove the f#. So take out the F & G first then the F#.
