Thanks so much. This is an awesome tutorial. Very clear instructions. I was able to restore my iPhone 5s. None of the other videos gave the right steps. The critical step to go to recovery mode is to press and hold both the home and power button. None of the other videos I saw mentioned that.

Hey. I have the same problem but I dont want to loose my information so when I click on the update button and not the restore which password will it ask for, will it ask me icloud password or my phone lock screen password?

If you don't have an apple id you can't get access to the phone

i have my iphone 6s and it doesnt want to charge frm the port I change the port,But it still Dosent want to Charge nor connect to my computer What do u think is the problem.
