How to Fix a Garage Door - Pulley Replacement 

Garage door company said they could not repair my doors and that I would need to get a new single pulley system that would run about $800 for both doors. Questioning them I Googled their suggested to find your video. $40 and an hour later and both my doors open and close as if they were brand new. a HUGE thank you for a concise, well crafted video.

Super helpful video! I noticed you didn't say anything about replacing the cables. I'm hoping I can get by using the ones I have, not because of cost but because I am not sure I could thread a new set properly. However, one of my pulleys just fell clean off, and the wire came loose from the outer wall side. As long as the other one is still in tact, I think I can figure that much.

I have a chamberlain garage door opener recently the idler Pulley broke I have purchased two that broke as soon as the guy attempted the first time use. Is there a metal Pulley that will interchange? Mine is a 2 1/2 inch diameter, I am a senior citizen that used to fix everything herself but now I can’t & It’s very frustrating thank you so much and advance for any tips you can give me.

My "door" screeches... I can see where the pulley away from the entrance is now damaged and also scrapes the bar. I doubt whether it was installed correctly. I'm not seeing how to properly install the pulleys and the wires. At least the safety wires are installed. My other door works fine. If you got a link, I would appreciate a good video show step by step.
