So, I wanted to reset my computer but it tells me that "A configuration change was requested..." and the keys to continue on from this page are F12 and esc and those keys dont work.😭😭😭
One of my keys stopped working recently, but thanks to you it came back to life. Many thanks! I've never thought the solution could be that simple, and I was afraid that I might have to throw this keyboard away lol. Thanks, again and cheers!
Thanks dude my "e" key was not working. What was worse was i only bought this keyboard a few days ago against my fathers wishes (he said that i could use my summer job money to buy something useful). After watching this video my key works now! You deserve a like and a sub ! Here's a bunch of Es: eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
My "M" key was lagging a lot. I just stumbled upon this video and it fixed my problem in less than 5 minutes. You're GOATED, I just wanna say, thank you so much.
I was so annoyed by my keyboard not responding all the time and found this video and thought to myself it's silly and won't work but i tried it anyway and it actually worked lmao. Thanks bro you saved me from tilting and breaking my keyboard in half. I guess this is a common thing in Royal Kludge keyboards (i have the RKG87)
I usually don't comment, but now I'm writing this with my mechanical keyboard which had the same issue. I tried this method and worked! Many buttons didn't response(about 7-8 times out of 10), but now they all work, main enter was dead and now working without any issue. It really works! I hadn't believe it first, but now I'm 100%. Thank you so much, you just saved my keyboard. Edit: I upgraded this method with using a tweezer to hold x shaped plastic and push pull it fast while blowing air.
If you ever have a keyboard that does this: Arrow keys are wasd and wasd are arrow keys. Look for the function button on your keyboard, then hold the function button and press any arrow key or wasd key. Although this might not be the case for all of you but it might work.
Thank you so much for this awesome tutorial. I just blew a few times and pressed while blowing and it started working. You are a legend for making this.
Worked for my letter T, thank you heaps. I had already tried taking it off and blasting air but your specific instruction for blowing air WHILE pressing it, worked! I can't thank you enough!
this actually worked thank you so much. it seemed so silly but when i was looking down blowing and pressing it at the same time, when I looked up I could just see that letter that I wanted to type in lol. thank you take care!
Wow, my W key started responding only 80% of the time, and i've had this keyboard for only 3 months. literally blowing on it while pressing it and its 100% responsive! I was beginning to lose hope lol. Thanks for the vid mate! life saver!
I'm probably gonna be needing this in the future since I also got an rk61. Not to diss you or anything but although not intentional, you made me laugh at some parts. That plus actually helping people, you deserve a sub :D
My rk61 is still doing fine after a year with none of the switches doing funny stuff. Though, I have experienced VERY rare glitches where some keys don't input but it always has been fixed by hard resetting it (long pressing fn key+space). Idk about the prices where you are from but I've seen boards that are essentially the same thing, specially if you don't care about Bluetooth connectivity, and that are hotswappable if you plan on modding on the future for a bit of a lower price so do keep that in mind.
I actually thought this was a problem with my pc, I had tried blowing on it before but it turns out blowing on it while pressing it really works. Thank you so much man.
I need a damn explanation cause this actually helped with my keyboard (my ctrl key stopped working and after i did this it worked around 60% of the time)
youre a genius bro, thank you so much, i honestly didnt think it would work since i literally just got this keyboard like 2 weeks ago but it worked like a charm
DUDEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE U JUST FRAKING SAVED MY FREAKING LIVEEEEEE MANNNN !!!! LIKED ! GGWP U THE MAN BRUH...., HOLY DAMN, WORKED AS A CHARM
This breathed a little bit more life into my Anne Pro 2 which is having trouble registering keys, especially when they are being held. Thank you so much! I'll still mod/repair it some time, but this works in the meantime before my next one arrives!
Guys, if this didnt work for you, you can try putting a little bit of 99% alcohol into the switch and then press it rapidly (or blow it with something with like a hair dryer) so the alcohol evaporates. Tried this with my redragon k599 red switch and it worked! Just make sure to not put too much alcohol.
Take off the key caps that don't work, flip it upside down wait 5 minutes, after you have done this get a hair dryer and put it on low setting and dry the water make sure you don't get your keys to hot as the keys will melt!
Thanks so much man, decided to completely clean my RK61 and after my A key was unresponsive 99.99% of the time, was shitting myself but this fixed my issue, keep up the good work, you got a sub from me
hahaha i'm laughing so hard!!! this blowing technique REALLY worked for me xdddddd Thanks, my F key wasn't responding like 60% of the time, and now all fixed look ffffffffffffffFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFffffffffff see? xddd
