I rebooted my phone, Redmi 9T, and now it won't open. I tried charging it though my phone battery is 80% and holding the power button but it won't open. I tried holding the volume up/down and power at the same time but it just won't open. I had this on feb. 2021, it's kinda new

Girl, your problem is literally like mine. I also rebooted my phone at 80% and it won't turn on (until now). I tried everything in this video and none of it worked. I also tried the volume+power buttons and nothing happened. The surprising part is I had my phone this Feb 2021 too.
no need to send it to the technician. all you need to do just leave it an hour an a day. then charge it and power it on. the cause of the problem is the software update which the miui must look into this. the software draining the battery after the reboot. this is a minimal problem and software problem. don't panic.
ano po kaya need kong gawin nag reboot lang ako kaninang 6 then di na bumukas ilang beses ko na tinry yung hold sa power botton at volum ayaw pa rin, help po.
I've encountered this problem for 4 times already in the span of 6 months. I'm getting fed up already. The longest time this happened is almost 2 weeks.
I have the same problem a while ago after trying to restart my phone then it didn't turn on even when I charge it no sign of charging . When this happened my phone is at 90% battery i tried pushing the power button as long as i can hold but nothing happens even try combination of power button and volume key . Ps. I open my phone but I used a different method. just like rebooting your phone you need a combination of power button and volume button. a background you can reboot or restart your phone while your phone still shut down like other phone the combination of volume - and power button will do and you can use only the button to select or enter first you need to charge your phone at least 15 mins. then, while charging press the power button and volume + at the same time it appear the battery logo then press the power button again and it's done! you just need to wait to fully charge your phone
My phone turned on! Hello! I did the rubber band method: use the tip of a cotton bud to hold the power button, secure it with rubber band (two knots). Hold the power button until the battery juice drains. Mine's at 80% before it blackscreened, so I had to wait 7 days to drain. Patience. Always check your cp if the drained-battery logo shows up. to check if the method's working, occasionally remove your cp on the rubberband method. Wait for a minute and just manually hold the button, if the drained-batt logo doesn't show, try plugging it in a charger, if there's no charging logo, put it in a rubber band method again and try again for the next few hours or a day. If you miss the drained-batt logo but you think the battery is totally drained, plug in the charger, it will show that it's charging, wait for a few minutes. always check if the battery's more than 5% but less than 10% (why? sometimes, if you attempt to power on it, it will again be blackscreened so para mabantayan mo yung drained batt logo, make sure na mababa ang battery percentage para madaling madrain) (mine's at 7%, then i removed it in charge, then tried to turn on but it blackscreened again) what i did when it blackscreened was i put it in rubberband method again for 2 hours and literally waited until the drained batt logo shows up. Then plug it in a charger, (it was supposed to be drained but mine showed 4%), then i turned it on WHILE IN CHARGER. update me on your next steps 😊

The rubber band method worked for me. All my apps were not responding so I decided to reboot my phone. When I reboot, the battery was at 20%. But my phone didn't turn on after I reboot. So I did the rubber band method. After 20 hours, I plugged my phone on the charger and it showed the charging logo. So I let it charge for 5 minutes and pressed the power button. Then, my phone opened again. At that time, battery was at 1%. That how it's worked for me.

@@jayvee9834 I just plugged in the charger and it showed charging logo then I waited for about 3 minutes and pressed the power button. Then, the phone opened by itself.
UPDATE: And the rubberband method is worked😍this is what happen,using a 1 match stick, i cut a small portion of stick that fits to power button and then i use rubberband to keep press the match stick to power button for 24hours,and after 24 hours i try connect the charger and nothing happens,no battery logo appear,so what i remember from the rubberband tutorial is to wait for another 4 hours or days and repeat the steps,but i dont want to wait for long again,so what i did is while the phone is connected to the charger and nothing response i repeteadly press the power button as fast as i can for 10 to 20 seconds and surprisingly the drainned battery logo appeared😁and then i wait for 1% and it automatically reboot without problem.😁puttaang ina nahirapan ako magenglish.hahaha sorry guys,para rin to sa mga poweranger na hindi nakaka intntindi ng tagalog😆😆❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hello guys! Same issue lang din sa redmi 9T ko nirestart ko lang siya kahapon tapos 'di na siya bumukas. Pinacheck-up ko siya sa technician ganun daw talaga sakit ng redmi 9T. since wala akong pera pambayad umasa na lang ako sa rubber band method na nabasa ko dito sa mga comments at gumana naman siya hehe, thank you sa nagturo nung method na yon kung sino ka man. Yung battery percentage ko is more than 40% ata siya non tapos kagabi ko lang sinubukan yung rubber band method. Pag gising ko ngayon ito na siya! Gamit ko na siya pang comment dito. Thank you talagaaaa!
Naranasan ko na to dalawang beses. Ang pinaka unang gagawin wag mag panic dahil mabubuhay din phone after ilang days. Unang beses kong narasan pag reboot ko di na nag on ulit, hinayaan ko na lang pero syempre kada oras pinipindot ko yung turn on button. Hindi ko sya chinarge para mag drain phone. Tapos after 3days saka ko chinarge, ayun nagbukas. Tapos pangalawa naman ngayong araw. Inupdate ko phone tapos need i-reboot, ayun di ulit nag bukas. Kada oras pinipindot pindot ko lang turn on button, after ilang oras nagbukas na. Basta hintayin nyo lang no need mag panic. Take note: Wag na wag mag reboot o i-shutdown phone para di maranasan/ di na ulit maranasan ito.
i was updating my cousins phone tapos diba need mag reboot? so i pressed reboot tapos until now di pa nag on and kinakabahan ako kasi di ko phone yun. Mag o-on paba talaga?
GUYS DO THE RUBBER BAND TRICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I left it charging while the toothpick is constantly pressing on the power button, not even a minute later the Redmi logo showed up and i immediately restarted the phone and it turned on!
hello, so it happened again. i know na mangyayare ulit na di na sya mag oopen ulit pero need ko ata i update kase nag loloko mga apps ko like messenger. after ko ma download yung updated version, balak ko nang update and that time, mga 4% nalang batt ko pero sabi need ng 15% batt atleast to update it. so chinarge ko hanggang maka 15%. may nag pop-up ulit na keep the charger pluugged while updating pero di na nag on. kampante naman ako kase alam ko na mang yayare pero after 2 days ayaw parin. bumalik ako dito para mag basa ng comments at mag try ng ibang gagawin pero ayaw pa din. chinarge ko ulit phone ko for less than 3 hrs then i dradrain ko sana ulit. ngayon, pangatlong araw na and ayaw pa rin mag open. trinatry ko naman lahat ng pattern ng pag rubberband method like leaving it for overnight na naka rubberband method or naka rubber band method while charging pero ayaw parin. i'm kinda losing my patience na feeling ko super drained na to but walang changes. update ko kayo sa susunod. pasensya na haba ng case ko hahaha. this makes me feel better and sana mag open na phone ko
This also happened to me actually ngayon lang. Around 30% siya bago ko nag update. Di ako nagpapanic idk hahaha let's pray na magbukas siya pero it will. Update ko na lang kayo.
Sobrang thank you sa mga nag comment ng rubber band method. I used sanrio and stick ng bbq pinutol ko ng kasing laki ng power button to hold the power button then after few minutes nag open sya nag blink ng 5 times showing the logo then inalis ko ung sanrio then ok na sya.

Total drain the battery juice by holding the power button. To do this, use a rubber band and a piece of folded paper/cardboard. Put the folded paper/cardboard on the power button (the size of folded paper/cardboard should not oversized the power button), and secure it with rubber band to totally drain the device' battery. When you think that it is totally drained (the battery), charge it and then boot it up again. Please share to others if this method works for you.
After doing all the process, it still cannot open my phone. And my last hope is the rubberband method, when I try it, my phone now is okay. I just use cotton buds instead of folded paper/cardboard. Thank you so much!

Ok so I turned off my phone and it blackscreened again. It was 27%. And I successfully drained it to 0. Nag chacharge din naman sya. Perp pag may batter juice na and I attempt to on it while charging, it blackscreens again.

Hello my Redmi 9T won't work. I left my phone on while sleeping and I woke up my phone shutdown I thought my phone needs to charge but when I plug the charger the battery icon did not appear and I can't boot up or switch my phone. 2nd time my phone did not boot up or black screen issue but the 1st one is different case, I did reboot my phone and It did not turn on but I use the rubber band method and next morning it work
Kakablack screen lang kanina akin. Di ko parin nabuksan. I tried to reboot it kasi the sim tool kit was laggy. I thought rebooting would have been the best choice. Help po. Ayaw gumana lahat ng steps dito

Nadrain po phone ko literal na 0% kasi napabayaan kong nakaswitch tapos nung chinacharge ko na walang lumalabas na charging icon tapos hindi nag swiswitch, nag ka ganyan na dati pero ibang case yun nireboot ko kasi pero may charge pa yung phone, yung ngayon nadrain ko tapos ayaw na mag switch pano po gagawin?
Thank you sa video po kahit hindi talaga nag work sa Redmi 9T ni ate, but I saw a comment here about the rubberband method! I did the method for 4 days and ngayon lang, my sister's phone is now working. Along the 4 days na naka rubber band po sya, I didn't saw any signs like nag pop-up po yung empty battery logo. So, I think I spam it twice, like kinuha ko po yung rubber band and the cotton buds (I used the tip ng cotton buds para pang-diin) sa power button and charge it tapos click the power button ONCE lang. Nung time na yun, d pa talaga sya gumana and ni-rubber band ko sya ulit kasi parang di pa sya totally drained. Kaya now, I tried charging it again......and it turned on! All thanks sa nag share ng idea dito about the rubber band method. 😌🙌🏻 Make sure nyo lang na naka drain po totally to 0%.

This is the 3rd time that my phone turn into black screen First one it takes 2days until the low battery sign pop out Second one it takes 3 1/2 days to open For the 3rd time, I notice that all my apps aren't working and I have no choice but to turn off my phone And now it's been 5days since my phone turn into black screen I did all the method that I search here in YT but still not working even the Rubber band method, I did it within 24 hrs. I feel nervous and panic, idk if it is going to work again or not. Is it possible that my phone will not turn on again and back to normal? Or should I take this to the service center? Hi, I've experienced the same thing. I waited 6 days for my phone before it turned on. I think it depends on the battery percentage of the phone before it shuts down. I also didn't use the rubberband method, I just leave my phone to rest. Don't panic, it'll eventually turn on when the battery juice has drained.
Update: i successfully drained the battery juice using rubber band method. Nung i charge ko na, lumabas na ang charging logo. i waited until 7% then tried to power on it. unfortunately, i didn't turned on. I tried checking on the battery and it doesn't showed the percentage anymore. So had to drain it again. What am i gonna do at this point?

I experienced this with my redmi 9t two days ago but It just opened literally right now. In my case, the two methods shown in the vid didn't work for me so I tried to bring it to a technician but it's too pricy so I just left it like that. After two days, I tried connecting it to a charger and it shoed the battery sign, I'm now letting it charge now before opening it. Check replies for update: PS: I haven't tried the rubberband method
NON OF THESE WORK FOR ME. THE ONLY THING THAT WORKED FOR ME IS TO LET MY PHONE REST FOR AT LEAST 3 DAYS AND AFTER THAT CHARGE YOUR PHONE AND ITS BACK TO ITS NORMAL STATE LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED.

Hindi gumana ang dalawang tips na ito sa device ko... pero sobrang thankful ako sa isang commenter dito na nagbigay tips tungkol sa pagsasama ng rubber band (Goma) at cotton bud tip ng may diin sa power button ng 'yong device para ma drain ang battery charged nito... madalas ang nakagawa noon ay inaabot ng ilang oras o di kaya ilang araw... pero 'yon ay gumana sakin sa loob lamang ng limang minuto nang sa ganon sobrang thankful talaga ako... Kudos sayo bruddah...i still cant believe na dahil sa little set of skills and knowledge ni kuya nakapagbigay siya ng information na 100% legit gagana : )

Guys, I've been through with the same problem two times. Nung una, grabe after 5 days ko pa siya bago nabuksan, yung pangalawa naman after 3 days. Legit yung i-drain nyu muna yung battery niyo using the rubber band method then charge it. Wag niyo nalang talaga i-restart or i-power off phone niyo kahit anong mangyari kasi parang may something wrong na talaga sa Redmi 9t ngayon 😔 Hindi ko na talaga i restart or i power off phone ko huhu 😔
@@cheese1277 press niyo po muna yung power button then hold it then lalabas yung charging sign niya- that's the time na ichacharge muna at lalabas na yung percentage niya. Kapag walang lumabas na charging sign meaning hindi pa yan totally na drain.
Hi!! Thanks for this video but unfortunately it didn't work on my case. Luckily, by scrolling in the comment section, i have read about this rubber band method and it worked! Well i guess the only purpose of the rubber band method is to drain your phone to 0%. In my case, using the rubber band method my phone did turned on for like after 30 hours. You'll know that the draining process is done when there's a battery sign. If your phone is already drained, charge it. Then, it'll turn on. THANK U WHOEVER U ARE! 🤗
Nakakalurx lang kasi nangyare siya ulit Hahahahahah. Kase naman marse after ng reopening finactory reset ko then namatay siya hahahaha! But ginawa ko ulit yong method then after 30 hours ulit nag open siya na naka-factory reset na HAHAHAHA as in it was like a brand new phone.

gumana sakin yung rubberband method, nirestart ko lang yung phone ko kasi may iilang bugs na nangyare tapos hindi na siya nagbukas, doon ko na ginawa yung method 44% battery ko nung nagshutdown phone ko halos 20 hours kong ginawa yung rubberband method tas kada oras chinicheck ko kung nagaappear na yung logo. ayon tiyagain niyo lang hahahahahaha

@@marclorencevalerio7598 use a cotton bud and place it on your power button then, use rubber bands to keep it secured. Make sure that the tip of the buds is pressing the power button. Everyday, take it off from the method and charge it. See if it will show the charging logo. Then you can open it if it does. But if didn't show the logo, just do the method again until it does show the charging logo.

Ginawa ko yan. Press mo power button for 10 seconds then magvibrate sya at lalabas yung charging sign sa screen. Then I charge mo na ulet at pag nagcharge na sya at in less than 5 minutes ay I on muna sya. If in case ayaw pa din which happened to me and what I did was naghiram ako Ng 33 watts na charger since we are using 18 watts lang. Kase deadbatt na talaga sya. Kapag nai plug mo na sya using 33 watts charger ay try mo ipress Ang power button Ng matagal at lalabas na ulet yung charging sa screen at okay na Yun at hayaan mo na syang magcharge Ng husto at pwede mo na iopen at magamit Ang cellphone.mo.
