Brilliant, thanks for the advice! I fitted two penny washers under the lower door hinge and can now close the drivers door with one finger. :)

so the problem is on that part of the door... I thought all the time that the problem was on the actual mechanism that locks the door in place! Actualy learned something usefull today thanks a lot!

Sorry for the delay. I did shims on both top and bottom of the lower Hing. Let me know how it goes.

I don’t think my door is sagging but when I close it it looks partially open, will this tutorial make it seal properly?

Possibly. Has the striker been moved? (The part that is on the car, NOT the door)

@@initialspeed sorry for the late response bro I had some things come up for me unfortunately and couldn’t get back to you, but no I have not the car is a b5 2000 facelift Audi, all stock so I believe it is still there
