That's what I'm thinkin'. How you gon' have me pay infinitely on a subscription for something whose errors I have to work around, not to mention its lack of intuitiveness. My school has an A/V program, they used Final Cut Pro, and in Final Cut Pro, I clicked "export," and got my video. I make music using Audacity and FL Studio, I click "export," get the audio file. I draw and animate too, click "export," get my drawing. Simple shit.
Wow, I was actually losing it! Then to watch this and see someone share my pain was the only thing that stopped me throwing a chair through the window... Extremely helpful and the way you explain things is so good (and funny) thanks heaps :)
Holy GOD, you are a life saver. I just spent literal hours trying to render something only to get the same message "Error" no explination given. What worked for me was the renderer at 9:00. THANK YOU!
@@LearnHowToEditStuff Yea there was a hotfix available on Reddit. That fixed Premiere Pro but I had the driver crashing, also Nvidia Broadcaster sometimes crashes the driver as well. So Studio Driver it is for now :)
I can confirm that the latest nvidia game drivers 461.09 have a big error and block the media encoder after a few seconds, when I returned the drivers to 457.51 everything works perfectly
@@mr.pancakegaming2922 Thanks for the tipp, I'll try both: Reverting to 457.30 and also installing the Studio Driver - always had the Game ready driver and didnt even knew the Studio one existed... Hopefully that helps! Right now I'm trying to render using the ProRes Codec first, cause the driver is still downloading -seems weird but it works so far already.
H264 is manly 4.2.0 colors, 8 bits and heavy compression (only 1 true frame against 11 interpolated ) . Pro res is 422 10 bits and do not compresse over frames, only "in frames", So off course it's much much better . TV PAD rated ...
OMG just found your channel today and you helped me fix a problem I was stuck on for 8 hours !!! If I wasn’t already bald I would of pulled my hair out 😅 but thanks to your tips I managed to finally export my video 🥳 your a life saver man 🤙
Will definitely remember these tips. Recently tried to export a 45 minute project and had to try about 18 times before it worked, but it would always fail at upwards of 85% so it could be sure to waste the maximum amount of my time lol
This is really nice, I love editing and when I search up how to do something I get one answer, now because you added a ton of different reasons why something doesn’t work I don’t ah e to go scavaging😂
This video was very helpful i was having tgis thing for a long time.then this made me do my projects again and again then i searched it on youtube 1st thing that youtube recommend video is yours. And good job man and subscribed. By Monster Technology
Nothing helps. Literally nothing helps. It's getting stuck on random photos but I EXPORTED IT BEFORE ON LOWER QUALLITY WITHOUT PROBLEM!!!!! WTF??? Can anybody help me? I just want to scream and smash the PC into pieces now.
Wasted 5 hours of my life today because render problems, thx for all these advice buddy. Me and the client where happy campers in the end of the day... or evening.
@eshwar I just had to restart, I basically wasted 12 hours for nothing, anyways it takes 15 minutes now, my ram is 32 gb, but there is some glitchy color now no idea why
Sou brasileiro, não falo inglês, entendi porra nenhuma. Mas estou rindo muito com a forma cômica de editar. Deixei o like porque valeu só pelos "memes". Very good kkk.
Have been going through the export error for a while. The timecode moves forward every single time and after it reaches the end of the timeline, the next time i thought this would end this continuous suffering. But nope. Premiere just wont let me have my way. It gave me another timecode which is wayyyyy into the beginning of my video. Premiere really said “it’s round 2 mf”
Changing the preview file format and switching the effects up and down actually worked 😍🔥🙌🏻💯💯 was stuck for past 2 days being unable to export. Thank you 💯
THIS WAS SUPER HELPFUL! Nesting the problem clip after removing the warp stabilizer plug-in and applying warp stabilizer to the nested sequence and re-rendering fixed my issue. My render stopped at two stacked clips with the top having a layered effect over the bottom and it's just incredible that you are able to re-create problems with your own projects and fix them for us all to see! Thank you for this!
While I am appreciative of the wonderful help, there is something else that needs to be said about these glitches in Adobe Premiere. How dare they charge $50-$100 a month for this crap!
Quick question - there used to be a window that would pop up at the end of a successful render, confirming it had rendered properly. I don't see that window any more. The render just ends without fanfare or confirmation. How do I get that window back?
Thanks for the great tips (as always). Wondering if you would consider a video that shows how to consolidate a project for archiving? And/or consolidating and prepping a timeline for export to another piece of software (e.g. Resolve for color correction) on another system? - (as opposed to just linking to all the media on the same system) All I encounter is problems trying to consolidate...lots of problems. Pretty sure Premiere has bad code in there.
Thanks for the good advice! It has been awhile since I’ve used Premiere Pro and I’m a little rusty. I used a lot of your tips and I’m not exactly sure which one was the key to my problem but it was definitely something that you suggested. Also, congrats on the new baby boy. He’s perfect!
Thank you so much!!! I actually had another problem than the one you talk about. After exporting from Premiere Pro, my mp4 file always gave this error: This file isn’t playable. That might be because the file type is unsupported, the file extension is incorrect, or the file is corrupt. 0xc10100bf. But the nesting the whole sequence advice, solved it!^^ So thanks again!!!
had the strangest little glitch, no problems or error rendering or exporting, but just a frame or two kind of spazzing out and flashing/stuttering in one part of my video... I think switching to "software encoding" might have fixed it? we shall see... thanks for all you do, i rep the ren/der hoodie on the regular!
Cute kiddo holmes. Congrats. And thanks for the tips. I've also found this to work sometimes: 1. Close Premiere 2. Delete all Audio & Video Preview folders 3. Re-open your project and try again. and if that doesn't work, I will also try repeating the process, with a computer re-start before re-opening the project.
Thanks so much for this video, ESPECIALLY the NVDIA upgrade. I have been using the game driver for years, didn't even realize there was a studio driver....thanks for that. I can't tell you how many videos like this i have watched and all those videos say is "update drivers" Doing that and moving effects to adjustment layer fixed my issues.
Thanks for this video! URGENT Someone PLEASE HELP! Im exporting in 4k a 1 hour 30 proyect, and is seem to be ok, and after 5 hours exporting the file is only half ok and the oder is in black, but the video file size its acoording to the data, for example in this proyect you can see until minute 23, then from there to the end of the video is all black. In premiere it look fine... someone can please help me?
Complete trash program. Can't handle multiple effects.. the entire point of the program. Freezes up.. audio wave disappears for no reason.. render errors.. not responding randomly.. absolute garbage
So many thanks! I had flickering and tried the suggested setting changes (some are impossible in a running project), effect order changes and then tested the different effects. As I used several chroma clips all the "makeup" effects for a beautiful face had to be rendered all together. Finally I had to eliminate the shadow highlight effect - and it worked! After three hard days and your helpful video (although difficult to understand ofr a non native speaker). Thanks again!!!
thank you. i didnt understand most of this but it fixed the error and finally exported my video. what is nesting? do you have a beginners adobe PP video because i feel like a blind girl in a dark room looking for a black cat that isnt there!
I solved this problem rather unconventionally, after trying all your solutions on my 1 hour 36 minutes long video, I came up with a cunning plan. I exported it as 15 minutes long individual videos (by looking at the exact point in time). So I basically had 6 parts of perfectly exported videos. I opened a new project, put them all together perfectly, and exported again, it worked like a breeze! ❤️
Hi!!! OMG THANK YOU. Haha so I was having an issue with exporting, it just kept exporting grainy and couldn't figure out why, even tho the footage I input was 1080, and the output says 1080, my source kept staying at 352...so..grainy result. Then I came here! You suggested changing the drop down thing to QuickTime and 4444 sumn, I did. It didn't work in the program I was using (figured cuz I'm in windows not mac) BUT that move made me think.....and THEN I thought, well maybe there's a windows version and I'm just gonna play with all these drop downs till I find one that works for me! And just like that sir, u ended my 14 hr troubleshoot session. I wanna hug u or sumn geez. Thank u!! If u ever want a personalized song or jingle or something let me know!!! Very thankful for u.
Thanks a mill. For me it was lumetri colour... found the time in the clip it was causing an issue and deleted that fx, added it on and adjustment layer and all rendered out fine...for now :)
Everytime i close my premiere pro 2020 it crashes lol i can save my project, but the program just crash and sometimes i just did a normal cross dissolve and my render stopped because of it. I hate premiere 2020 so bad.... i most prob going back to 2018 or 2019
It’s an hour past my bedtime and thanks to you, my video is FINALLY exporting. I have no idea; I’ve been using premiere pro for an entire year now… I update tonight; and BOOM problems. All is well for now though. Thank you.
really interesting but for me,,,,an old guy it's all 'greek to me' I've actually used adobe since its inception,,,,,they just really need ot 'LEAVE IT ALONE !' We,,,,( that would be the 'PAYING CUSTOMERS' ) don't need a new titler change which left me without being able to do titles,,,,and this 'error' code is rediculous,,,,,,make the adobe program be able to find an error,,,,,,and then have a button saying ' Adobe will FIX it for YOU!" so, I'm just sitting here with a kids school program with 30 kids and parents waiting to see it ,before Christmas of course, and error code after error code ( yes,,,,I do make it challenging using 1440 cameras,,,,,,, DJI camera, Lumix fZ2500 camera and a couple of go pro which don't work worth a crap ) and still error codes ........
None worked. Did all suggested. My problem is export just hangs at some %. No errors. Just sits there. Have waited over night. No change. Premiere is so f*cking frustrating, not because its complex, but because it is so buggy, and you rarely find “why” the problems exist so you can avoid them. When dealing with Adobe it is always just “try x” qnd “try y” (apparently randomly) and if you are lucky something works.
I am exporting for RU-vid in HD/4K and seeing some compression when I upload. I am a travel vlogger with a lot of motion in my videos but the pixelated areas are strangely mostly on our faces and bodies, not the surroundings. I am exporting: H.264 format, 3840x2160, 29.97 frame rate, square pixels, render at max depth, VBR 1-2 pass, 80 bitrate, use max render quality. Every single upload I also get stuck in the "HD processing" for days (on 11-15GB files) so it takes a long time to even see that it's compressed and then I have to reupload and wait again. I have a video I've been trying to upload for a week so I am getting backed up on trying to post weekly without sacrificing quality. Any tips for either battling compression in HD/4K and/or getting HD/4K videos to upload faster without sacrificing quality?
Thank you sir! Only had to watch the first 5 minutes of your video before fixing our rendering issues. Updating the sequence settings as well as unchecking "Automatically refresh growing files" under preferences > media did the trick for us. I am running a brand new Mac Mini with the M1 chip, and recently update to Adobe Premiere Pro 2022. The issue we had was that once we rendered the footage (H264), the output video seemed to be flickering randomly, and the movements in the video had strange motion trails in a bizarre sort of way! Once I looked at the sequence settings, in my Adobe Premier, I noticed that the "Editing Mode" was set to "AVC-Intra 100 1080i". We are not dealing with interlaced footage so, that 1080i setting seemed like a red flag. Also, the "Automatically refresh growing files" checkbox under preferences > Media was checked in my case which could have been causing us extra processing power.
Any idea how to export h265 videos in Premier pro ? Because i have Gopro 11 black videos what is h265 HEVC and doesnt matter what kind of format i try to export the video its always doesnt work. The exported video black and only audio or the exported video file size 24kb what is like nothing or the video size 47 GB when the source video is 1.5 GB or the exported video like in slow motion and dunno why. Any idea what can be the problem ? My source video is 1.5GB 2700x1504 resolution 60 FPS H265 HEVC format since Gopro 11 black videos always like this format only.
I am running into this error, I've rendered my video 4 or 5 times since yesterday after watching this and trying your tips. I got around the error for now but for some reason it won't export the full length of the video. It's about a 20 minute video and when it seemed to finish exporting, the file was only 15 minutes long. any help is much appreciated!
Im married but i love you for this. I had the same issue with 2 projects in a row. I spent more time rendering than editing. Software encoding did the job for me. Thanks a lot man🤝 youre doing s great job
One more solution: you need to extend your windows memory cache settings. I made simple video without any effects, 1:30 h duration. And after four hours of experiments solution found: 250gb cache on ssd and it render successfully. Mercury engine need a lot of RAM. 30 mins render against 2:30 when you use software encoding (which is not need lot of RAM).
Brilliant. Had a bear of a time after re-creating a lower-third that started out life as a very bloated RGB +ALPHA AVI to a blue-screen .MOV in PP2023 on MacOS. A/V editor on Windows 10 kept receiving a render failed error in AME. Turns out grouping the lower-third with the show-opener animation auto-applied the Bluescreen Color-Key from the lower-third to the show-opener animation. Solved by nesting the lower-third off by itself then grouped with opening animation. Ta-dah. So thank you fine sir, thank you.
"UNABLE TO CREATE IMAGE BUFFER" I have this notification on screen. What is it, why did it happened, I can't see my images on the timeline, I can hear them, but not see them. How can I fix this. I need to finish my editing project. Please reply soon. Thank you
I set aside my whole day to figure this out, I'm gonna apply these suggestions for sure, thank you. While I wait, I will contemplate how my life would look like if I switch to DaVinci Resolve...
I have to give you a big shout out and thank you. For unknown reasons (Adobe of course). Premiere Pro 20 and 21 disappeared from my system. Macbook 2019. The disappearance of 20/21 followed the inclusion of a corrupted 2022 version. This thing gave me a fit. I was on the phone with Adobe Tech Support. We thought they fixed the problem? But nope did not. I found the answer within seconds of this video starting. By default on my system, sequence settings were demonstrably off. 6000/4000. I change as you suggested to 1920/1080 and voila. After 2 weeks of being ill, system recovered. Like a miracle I tell you. yeah and thanks.
I'm having a weird issue that I can't seem to find anywhere. I'm not getting an error per say, the render gets to 100% and I get a video, but the video itself glitches at the end and doesn't run anymore. I've solved it before by making an entire new project and sequence and reimporting the video and all of my b-roll and edits, but that REALLY sucks. I'm hoping some of these solutions might help, but if you've ever seen this and know of another way to solve it, I'm all ears! Will reply if any of these solutions solve my problem 🙏🙏
i have some complicated question i will first ask it in a short way .. further down i will explain in detail - short version: adobe media encoder writes the first video file (5 seconds 2.5 MB) deletes it within milli seconds after rendering process is beeing finished, adds "something" which increeses the filesize (to 12 MB) and rewrites a new file which contains the exact (pixel perfect) video as the first file that just got snatched away from the user. why and how to prevent this, what is beeing added ? - detailed version: the method to reproduce this issue you take any rendering process in adrobe media encoder setup some mp4 codec take any settings you like start the rendering process while it is writing the file data into a open file data stream into the file and finishes the first file it closes the file (at this point you have like a milli second to grab the file copy paste it somewhere) after a few milli second this same file gets replace and several MB of data gets added to the final file for example. 5 seconds video 1920x1080 with 264 4.2 high vbr 4 mbps the first file beeing written ended up around 2.5 MB - 8 MB filesize depending on the content ... this file can be copied and it contains the whole video .. after a few milli seconds after this file got closed it gets replace by something above 12 MB filesize. and this 2nd video if you compare every single pixel is exactly the same as the one youve just had a milli second befor adobes media encoder process removed the file and added "something" to the file which has nothing to do with the video itself. to clarify befor anyone starts assuming stuff .. this final video i exported both versions into tga files comparing them bit by bit they are exactly the same but the one beeing deleted was smaller WAY smaller.. so something gets added there .. - my questions would be what exactly gets added here ... why does it get added ? how to identify what ever it is thats beeing added there how to remove what ever it is thats got added there how to prevent adobe media encoder from adding "something" in the first place why would adobe decide to delete the smaller file size video to hide the fact from the user ? after all what ever it is that gets added it happens without permission nor reason since my goal was a rendered video and the first file that gets deleted behind my back already contained that video and reached the goal so why deleting it adding something and fool the user with a larger file size endproduct not to mention without even informing the user - any information towards this are welcome i searched and did not find anyone having identified this and i can just wonder that most professionals would never use media encoder in the first place and those who do are too lazy to care about something like filesize.
Well congrats on your baby from over a year ago... you helped my solution with render issues so thank you. Do you happen to have a fix for when sometimes on a media encoder the render just somehow mutes some parts of the video (but in preview its all fine) its a well issued problem to many.. at the moment my fix is when this happens in a final export ill go back to the project select all the clips and go to clip -> render and replace and this fixes it but its not an idea process. Been an issue on several of my WINDOWS editing stations on latest version at the time, been an issue for the last 1 year.. =
Hey @Learn How To Edit Stuff I was wondering if exporting to a sd card is possible because my macbook air definitely does not have the space for exporting and I have tried put it in my sd card through my flash drive that is able to change sd cards but it always says I have no space even though the sd card has 512 GB’s and that is where I am trying to export it. Any answer from anyone will help too
I have doubts regarding the encoding error is that when i set the sequence settings to "Software Only" after that i going to render it in Adobe Media Encoder but there is set on "Hardware Only CUDA", So the question arises is this gonna work....?? . . . . In other words, In the Premiere Pro sequence set to "Software Only" and Media Encoder is set to "Hardware Only CUDA"...So will the rendering work and is it rendering faster or slower...???? Kindly answer, please...????
Thanks for everything, however none of this is helping me :( I just started using Premier Pro 2022, I have never used any other version. The program is sluggish for me at best, and rendering is never an option because it never finishes, it just freezes up and the program goes unresponsive. So, if I try to export right away, the same thing happens 80% of the time, especially for any video over 1 1/2 minutes long. Exporting is VERY slow, and when I go to export, and the program gets to a certain random %, and then stops. If I try to cancel the export, the entire program goes unresponsive. Basically, I have to get lucky that the entire thing saves after constantly using Task Master to force the program close and reopen it. I use my laptop which is a Dell Inspiron 1300 special edition i7, I have never had this issue before, but Pro certainly doesn't like to operate on any level.
The Issue I am having is once my video is exported i can't play the video past a certain time. I don't have any issues rendering it but only when I try and play it once I open it up through a media player. It says "this video uses unsupported coding settings 0xC00D36E5" HELP ME PLEAASE!!
Hi! Ian, this video helped me so much. The first two steps you address--"Sequence Settings" and "Preferences"-- appear to have solved my problem. I just got a new computer and the settings changed when I re-installed Adobe Cloud. Thank you so much.
Hello! If you want just to render how can you change the location on rendered file ?? I cant find that information! The render process it will eat my C drive very fast!
Question! Media Encoder was rendering a video which lasted 46 hours then the power went out and my computer turned off- the rendering stopped on a 2 day process 🤦♀. Is there anyway to get back to the same spot on the render/ restart the render in the same spot that it left off?
