After Effects> An empty project (or new) . > file >import> file ... opens window to import file then crash. I did Everything reseted. Reinstaled AFX nothing helps. If i drag and drop picture or video everything is ok. Any Idea?

in that case there could be a problem with the pf like corruption. in that case make a new project separate from that and try importing the old pf into that project (that's possible so dw) and try rendering. Also do check if there is any error with the effects cuz sometimes over excessive values also lead to that

Umm, I'm not sure of that, but that is definitely an AE glitch. Try resetting your after-effects and that should fix

It crashes every time I try to use look. I can use other people's presets with look in it but I can't edit it myself. I'm pretty sure my pc can handle it, I've got a RX570+ryzen 5 2600+16GB ram.

Your preview while editing will be surely affected, but your rendered product won't.

Well, to keep it simple for you, do you recall the green lines whilst previewing? Those green lines disappear every time you add something new and take time to pre render, don't they? So, cache means basically the past green lines that were rendered.

not at all! the quality will be lower while editing but the quality of rendered output wont be affected at all

few days ago, I actually faced the same problem too, infact all of my plugins were disrupted, so the reason for that their is some problem with your video driver, go to device manager and update your video driver but if it says that the best driver is already installed then uninstall the driver and your system will automatically re-install it which will fix the problem. for the last step of deleting your driver, only do it when you have proper backup otherwise you might need to get your computer to a technician to reset it... its highly risky but it gets the job done

make sure you follow the tut and especially the last part! also i really dont reccomend you using others cc presets as they are made in other's pc and your PC's compatibility and theirs might not match too

@@fully_cr7.aep_on_tiktok it could be that your pc is not able to handle those effects if it happens sometimes but if its happening everytime then it could be the plugin's glitch, try applying steps from my tutorial and if it still does not work for you then consider downlaoding the plugins again or resetting your ae
