How to fix an A&K box magazine

I got an A&K automatic box magazine with my Classic Army SAW and it stopped working (sad day) so I took it apart and found out it was very simple to fix so now it works fine!!!
If you can afford it the other box magazine is much smaller but holds the same amount and has a pressure switch built in
(the echo1 and classic army SAW both use the same box mag)

Mine the switch from off to auto to sound is broken and it brakes easy

You probably have the echo 1 box mag which is a little different. It can be difficult to remove on the Classic army version as well but after removing the part with the hoses going into the side of the gun, the magazine should slide out sideways.

I sold it. I really would not recommend it unless you can do upgrades yourself. The Classic Army M249 is pretty nice looking and is made of good quality materials but its a support weapon so I ended up having to upgrade it constantly and that cost me a lot. I wouldn't spend more than $300 new for the classic army. A&K seems pretty similar and cheaper too but I have no experience with it.

im having that problem aswell. try opening up the side of the boxmag and watch to see if the bbs will try to feed into the gears and loader, if not you could always try filling down the entry hole and possobly using a bunch of wd40

Other than making sure it is in the mag-well properly I have no idea. take it apart and test it once it is disassembled. The gear could be stuck or maybe the motor is dying.

how did you take off the "magazine" part? Mine has 2 tubes for starters.

If it doesn't make sounds and you have already checked if it is jammed the wires could be damaged or maybe the motor is dead. Beyond that I have no idea. Good luck though

First take it off the gun and see if it feeds. If not take it apart like I did and make sure bbs can feed past the gear. If all that works then It might not be all the way into the mag-well. Its a pain to get it in all the way. Otherwise there might be a problem with the piston in the AEG.

i did this to mine it shot about 50 times then it jams up again and i just got the gun like 5 day ago and i havnt even shot it much the way i fix it i stick a screw driver into the gear that feeds the bbs an it unwinds really fast like it has a spring

i got lucky becasue my box mag is fine. But i upgraded the m249 to 25 RPS and on auto feed it will only feed fast enough for short bursts and sound operated i will have to shoot 10 rounds before it starts winding so its pointless

ok that sounds like when i got mine, but I dont believe it is an A&K box mag, I have an A&K m249 mkII with a stock box mag, and it doesnt look anything like yours and im fairly certain ( not 100%) A&K mags and classic army m249 are not compatible, atleast thats what ive seen and heard

@armyguy451 one huge problem with this mag. (one of many -_-) is that you can over-wind it only press the button when your out of ammo or while your firing or else too many bbs will go into the tube and it will jam so if you pressed the button so it kept winding that is your problem- hope that helps tell me if you get it working

I have no idea what generation it is. I bought it almost a year before this video was made and it had been in the store for who knows how long.
