in step six under actions i cannot see hardware changes button help pls it shows only help button option i got an assignment to due today and my speaker always bursts so have to use bluetooth pls help ;(

bros! there is a much easier way,.. use COLD RESET... long press the power icon for 10 seconds until it shutdown then unplug your PC and if your using a LAPTOP remove the battery and wait for 50 seconds..and Lastly, turn it back on..and check fro the BLUETOOTH icon.. i've tried all methods shown in all other videos here in youtube but nothing happened. for some people this might work and some may not but it's worth trying.. im just glad that i discovered this method and now sharing it to all of you,.. take care now :)

Thank you for this brilliant yet much simpler fix, it worked wonderfully for me. So, I will share the details of my FIX: 1. While laptop is running, Press Power button for 10 sec (I did 15 sec for good measure) … computer shutoff in couple seconds but I kept pressing for total about 15 seconds 2. Disconnected the power cord from laptop 3. I did not remove my laptop battery (since it is deep inside my laptop) 4. Waited a minute or so 5. Plugged back the power cord to my laptop 6. Pressed power button to start laptop 7. While booting, the laptop complained something like “pc was not shutoff correctly” and asked me to select either “Restart” or “Advanced troubleshooting” (something to that effect); I choose “Restart” 8. Laptop restarted normally as it always does (phew!) 9. Now I could see the Bluetooth icon, and my BT devices started working again and life is good! Finally, thank you again to this channel and specially to Hunter Killer Two ... people helping people brings world peace!

Found this in a comment here in the video, this is what worked for me Setting - Updates & Security - Go to "view Optional Updates" and then select from the drop down menu something relation to Bluetooth and then click "download and install". Hope it works as good as did for me.

After years my Bluetooth suddenly just disappeared one day for no reason, couldn't even turn on/off, since it physically wasn't there. Looked everywhere, your video was the only resource that finally actually worked!! Thanks for laying everything out, fix 6 did it for me!! My laptop keyboard was damaged about a year ago, so I had to buy a Mini Portable Bluetooth keyboard, hence being stripped of Bluetooth, meant being stripped of the ability to properly type. I'm now typing this message on my keyboard that's finally connected through Bluetooth, smashed the like button, subscribed, and wish could treat you too drinks as a huge thanks so much for helping all of us!!! 🤗⌨🍹

the problem im actually having is that when I run the Bluetooth troubleshooter it keeps telling me that the "Bluetooth radio status is not fixed" and that I need to somehow check it but I don't know what it wants me to do. and this is actually the second time it's happened too! last time I was able to somehow fix it by hard restarting my laptop by pressing the on/off button instead of the on-screen one, but I've restarted my laptop multiple times and it hasn't fixed it at all :(

I guess you are assuming that a Bluetooth adaptor in already installed on the pc. If none is installed, then looking for the icon is useless, right? I didn't hear you say that, but it will help hundreds of people that are frustrated.

Tysm for this, solution 6 worked for me. Although I did have a problem where when I pressed the action button the only option that showed up was help. If you also had this problem, what I found that worked for me was to press view, then show hidden devices, then click on bluetooth, and then when you press action you should see the options for scan hardware changes and add legacy hardware.

This error means that the Bluetooth device is not connected to your computer. It seems that the Bluetooth hardware is faulty. You should visit the service center to fix it.

This bug is back, and the Microsoft forum techs are still doling out the same useless cut and paste replies and making people jump through complicated pointless hoops. This happens to me at least once a week, and the only thing that works is: Device Manager>View>Show Hidden Devices. Uninstall EVERYTHING under Bluetooth. Under Universal Serial Bus controllers, uninstall whatever has an exclamation mark, plus any USB Root Hubs. Shut Down (NOT Restart). It's getting to be a routine now. I hate Windows.

@@crazylady3122 if you do not know what to choose just install intel driver then go to device and drivers, scroll down and find Networking and I/O, whatever is there is your hardware now just go look for it on the device manager.

Bluetooth symbol on device manager was missing. I tried all the ones shown in the video did not work, restarted dozens of times, watched dozens of other videos, read articles on forums, but no method worked. After everything, while looking desperately at the device manager screen with blank eyes, I saw the text "unknown device". He was always there .. I didn't know what it was. I first disabled it and then I enabled it. the problem was solved in an unexpected way. Maybe it will work for you too

Hello there i have this problem that some times or randomly my connection got shut off, and the bluetooth disappeared from device manager, but some times my connection turn on randomly also this happens often, in a day this could happen between around to 2-4 times and i already turn off and turn on wireless adaptor from other tutorial i saw before finding your channel, and it didn't help at all so can you please tell me an advice to fix this problem?

hey i tried the 5th step but the problem is, before the bluetooth button disappeared, i removed the device, i thought i could re-add it again. after i removed the device, i turned off the bluetooth, then its gone. so even if i tried the 5th step, the device i want to connect with my laptop is gone. do you have any suggestion on that?

i've tried it all, intel wireless bluetooth is visible in device manager, but can't be added to action center. if i try to uninstall it in device manager it asks me to restart my pc and after restart it's still there and not fixed. installing the downloaded version from intel website doesn't anything either. been trying for hours now it's making me so mad

I tried everything here and various other ways found online. NOTHING WORKED. I finally found a solution that worked for me, maybe it'll work for you: type msconfig in the run command window; click safe boot and restart computer; unclick safe boot and restart computer again. That's it. I was so happy when i saw this bloody Bluetooth icon appearing again. Hope this helps

None of the above for me , no toggle , no icon in action centre , the add to list is greyed out , no bluetooth in device manager and when I click on the action button all I get is help . Just bought a wireless headset which is useless atm .I have plenty of wired sets :P

in addition to no BT icon, my BT on/off toggle is gone after BT crashed randomly and at first i found no BT in device mgr list, but clicking show hidden devices produced a list of half dim icons that look inactive.
