I followed the directions but no matter how many times I hit or unselect the blur option and hit done it doesn't fix it. 16.2 os

The "blur" wasn't turned on but toggling it on/off didn't work at all. Something else is wrong because I can't even get to ANY of my apps making my phone a useless brick.

So, I got 14 Pro Max and I went for basic wallpaper. Got it on home and lock screen. But on home screen it’s blurry and I can’t disable the option blur in down right.

I don't even have a home screen when I get to that point. All I can do is add another lock screen wallpaper. So I am stuck with blurry screen and can't see any apps....

If you made a new Lock Screen it can set it to be blurry by default, glad this helped!

This didnt work for me, so I turned off the phone and turned back on and it was fine. I looked at the Blur button and it was blue. So that must mean off..but I have NO idea how my screen suddenly became blurry.

My iPhone screen having blurred, I tried to follow these directions. Right at the beginning, when I pull down on the screen, a list of recent alerts from various news & other sites whose alerts I had approved -- but no button at the bottom reading "Customize," as your instructions say. Instead, there's a flashlight icon on the lower left, a camera icon on the lower right, the usual time & date on top, and a background screen that's in focus. When I swipe upward to return to the home screen, the blurriness is there. How can I fix this when I can't get to the "Customize" button?

I assure you there is if you’re on an iPhone with iOS 16+. That’s also not what the OP said, they’re on the Lock Screen but the customise button doesn’t appear unless you tap and hold

So you’re saying we need a iOS 16 before this will work because I have a pro max 11 and 😢there is no customize there very confusing and you talk way too fast

@@louisewaters2322 This specific method is to fix the automatic blurred effect added to the home screen when creating a lock screen in iOS 16+. You can also slow the video down if you need to, I get a lot of people asking that I speed up too! If you don't have iOS 16, then this video won't help - it's more likely the issue is caused by software. Think back to when you first noticed it and if you made any changes at that time (new apps, settings changes etc), try reverting them.

In what way is it acting up? If you think it's due to a problem with the screen hardware you'd need to look for repair options or check your warranty

When I follow the video and ho up and fine from the Home Screen the same prompts aren’t coming up. The only thing they works is turning off and on. ?!
