Just did the MIUI 13 update(got nag-screens for the last year) and made sure to do a factory reset first. My phone is an Indian model and had done the 12.5 update the day I bought it over a year ago without issues. Let the system do the 13 update itself and have had no issues with the cameras or battery life.

BTW, in both updates by the system the Global Version was applied, not the Indian ones.

I have already tried all your recommendations and all the internet recommendations. and it did not work at all. when use the main rear camera that's when the error will pop out. the other app that are using the camera like messenger, instagram and etc are using the rear sub camera which is the wide one. This error occur after one week updating to MIUI 13.0.1 the other day the MIUI 14.0.1 i updated my phone it is still not working. can you tell me what is the issue and how to fix this?

@@alexandrafayebustamante965 yeah, I did. I got it checked at their official service center and the payment quotation was almost like theyre telling you to buy a new phone instead. The price was too much! So I got it fixed from people who fixes phone of course, and it cost me 5x less than what the official store said. Get yours fixed now.

yes it can be hardware issues! but often when you give factory reset on device! you might get UI not responding issues but if this is not the hardware issues you can give a hard reset or factory reset!

I already did a hard reset and nothing happened. I was also told if you have the bootloader unlocked. These issues cannot be fixed. I relocked bootloader by flash. Still nothing.

@@makeithard3516 i have already tried all of your recommendations as I read in the internet and as per advised by some xiaomi users...I already tried clearing the camera data, restoring default camera settings, including factory reset but it didn't solve the issue...i think it is not a hardware problem because there is no problem in taking pictures and recording videos with front and back camera using third-party apps like messenger, viber, telegram, whatsapp, etc... * taking pictures and recording videos with front and back camera thru third-party apps is OK. * taking pictures with front and back camera using device/system camera is OK. THE PROBLEM: Recording video using device/system camera (front and back) is NOT OK. What happen is, when i open the camera, it is functioning at first while it is in "photo mode". But when i turn it into "video mode", the screen freezes in a blurry image and then hang...and the message can't connect to the camera" appear then it will automatically close after three seconds... My phone is functioning very well..the problem occurs when i am trying to record a video using device/system camera... Hoping for effective solution soon...thanks
