How to Fix Core Isolation Incompatible Driver Issues
Core Isolation Memory Integrity Fails to Enable Because of Incompatible Driver. A lot of people are having problems with Memory integrity setting in Windows 10/11 this is due to incompatible drivers, try downloading a new driver which would possibly support Core isolation. There is no guarantee that updating device driver will work, but its worth a try. If you have no update, the only other way to get it to work is to uninstall the driver, this will effect the device that needs that driver to run. So Microsoft does not recommend that you delete drivers to attempt to restore this setting.

Thanks Brian, knew the driver but didn't know how to delete it. Lenovo had a new driver dated 2017 but that was not found via Windows update, thought it would have been passed by MS by now. Deleted old oem driver, installed the newer one, enabled Core Isolation OK. Thanks again, really appreciate all you do for us. :)

You’re not going to believe this but it is not allowing me to even use core isolation and I get an error message… I really don’t want to do an update with Microsoft… I just wanna be able to access the Internet and helping an elderly couple and they’re all kinds of issues with their windows 10 it says it updated to 11 but everywhere else on the computer is still shows it’s on 10… I actually think you’re hacked because some of the firewall settings are grayed out where I can’t even change them! you’re not going to believe this but it is not allowing me to even use core isolation and I get an error message… I really don’t want to do an update with Microsoft… I just wanna be able to access the Internet and helping an elderly couple and they’re all kinds of issues with their windows 10 it says it updated to 11 but everywhere else on the computer is still shows it’s on 10… I actually think they’re hacked because some of the firewall settings are grayed out where I can’t even change them ! Sir, I was having a driver compatibility problem from 18th December 2021 after I brought & connected my WD My Passport External Hard Drive. After that, Windows automatically installed the old WD drivers, which caused my PC to crash and freeze randomly! I also had installed the latest drivers from their site! I didn't knew that WD SAM Driver was causing issues! I also had that memory integrity feature problem as I also couldn't enabled it! Since I subscribed your channel, I got this video on my subscription feed! And after doing all your steps as per your instructions, I finally removed those outdated drivers and then my PC's freezing problem got fixed magically! A huge thanks to you! I have been trying to resolve this incompatible driver issue (the one I had was of a samsung driver - ssudbus and ssudmdm) for the past 3 hours trying countless ways one by one referring different videos and steps on the internet. Extremely lucky to have come across your video and resolve my issue. PS. Anybody reading this comment can reply here in case their method does not work through this video. Since I have tried a few other ways, I might be able to suggest some steps which selectively may work out for you if you could point out the step you are at. You are awesome! I spent hours trying to fix this issue using every way I could think of and any recommendations from Microsoft and various self proclaimed IT Gurus, but nothing worked. I kept having issued with deleting the driver because it was not showing up unless I manually looked for it and when I tried to manually delete it I couldn't due to System access authorization, even when running as Admin... I was a nightmare until someone in a website recommended your video. THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!

I tried everything in your video but didn't work. Finally I solved the problem in Device Manager instead of go to the hidden devices, I went to the drivers and found the culprit driver and uninstalled it. Boom, it worked without any flaw.

Thanks for the video. Just wanted to add that in case if you want to force uninstall a driver you can do that by adding "/uninstall /force" after the file name in the powershell. In my case, that resolved the issue for me.

I can remove the logitec G25 drivers (logitec profiler from 2010) but then my steeringweel stops working correctly. So no Core isolation for me.

Yes i also have old pc dell 9020 which is 8 years old i3 4th gen i have installed win11 on it using workaround and i have tried that but it says display driver is outdated so it wont work on my pc hence proved core isolation is not for me either

Great Video! Did your feature updates, when I go to core to see which drivers are incapable, I am in the Security at a glance section, I click on device security because I am not seeing the things you showed, and after clicking I get message that states page is not available. On what system I have the Yellow Exclamation Point (this is newer Laptop: Lenovo IdeaPad i5) and on Desktop all items are green but still cannot get to make adjustments to Core Integrity. I asked in Lenovo Group, but no resolutions. Any Ideas on how to enable on Laptop?

Oh by the way after turning the hypervisor and virtual machne on it did make my computer glitchy! but is probably because of the driver issue your talking about i suppose. thanks for revisting this topic Ben! oh another thing of note is that microsoft says core isolation only works on one app at a time.

Thank you so much I was so frustrated trying to remove an old controller driver for a controller I don’t even use. I thought resetting my pc would solve the problem but I had the same issue. Luckily I was able to remove it through terminal. Again thanks a bunch

@@Britec09Hi Birtec, ive got some few pc issues that i think you could solve. So basically a month ago i did some few optimizations on my pc. It just made my windows security not working. It basically makes it so that when i try to go into the windows security i just keep kicked off. All the boxes are green ticks though. The second issue is that my microsoft store and microsoft photos arent working, just the same as windows security. I cant go into it The last problem is that i get a message that A driver cannot load on this device. Driver: hpPortlox64.sys. ive tried resetting my pc multiple times but it doesnt change anything. If you could help me it would make my whole uear.

Thank you very much! The error was fixed with me after removing the problem existing in the inf file from the command line as administrator. This was done without the need to remove the WD SES Device, as I don't have that on my device from the start.

I had the same issue, switch on virtulisation in the BIOS my switch was in the chipset setup screen. I was then deeated by various drivers.

Update discovered that with Ryzen 5 chips there is no need to setup virtulisation in Windows 11 once switched on in the Bios the core setting appears plus driver warnings

Thanks for sharing that. My drivers related to an old Logitech joystick that I'd long since given to my niece. I was able to get rid of the drivers via deletion software, but, it's nice to know that there are ways of doing so should I run into the problem in the future.

thankyou so so much, i installed Hisuit and couldnt get rid of the extra drivers even after i uninstalled the app, it wouldnt let me turn on core isolation, i thought i had to turn it off to get my phone connected to my laptop, turns out i had to reassigh all of the files to me being an admin of them and only then could i delete the files, even going through the terminal couldnt work before i did this, because the files i was deleting automatically bellonged to the SYSTEM, i had to gather bits and peices from your videos and afew articles i found, so thankyou

Basically I just removed the old Logitech drivers because it's drivers from 2012 and I couldn't find an updated driver for it

I just started having this problem today. I've had memory integrity enabled for months but when i turned my PC on this morning I got a BSOD (unfortunately I didn't see what the BSOD was because I stepped away from my PC and came back just as Windows was going to the automatic repair screen) when my PC booted back up it suddenly said memory integrity was disabled and couldn't be enabled. And when I checked it's showing the incompatible WD driver even though that's never been a problem before.

I cannot express in a simple comment how great full I am to find this video. I was pretty flustered to say the least. To top it all of you have a very calming relaxed voice which really helped me switch into a “ I can figure this out mode “ haha. I downloaded a popular Chinese free to play game with you guessed it anti cheat. It caused bsod , I fixed that. But then windows defender warned me the anti cheat drivers were causing core isolation to de activate due to incompatibility. I uninstalled the game immediately but the drivers for the anti cheat stayed installed lol. Now I have learned my lesson on why everyone always hates anti cheat. Seriously ty for helping me nuke these toxic drivers , cleanse my pc , and restore this safety feature.

@Britec09 The tool at 8:54 helped as the devices did not show in device manager and could not be removed via the Windows terminal.

I enabled the memory integrity ticks in the windows features and it worked. do I have to untick those boxes again or have I been lucky and it solved my issue? Thanks in advance :)

i did the features part but even then there is no incompatible driver listed in the review section

after I restart my PC and i try to open Core Isolation it says Page Not Available The page you are trying to access has no supported features and is not available. PLEASE HELP
