Hello, thanks for your tutorial ! I was wondering if you have have to change the gimbal housing stabilizer, I've crashed my drone and the stabilizer broke one of its legs, and lost some rubber in the process. I've bought the replacement of these parts, but then there's a roller which I'm afraid to disassemble since I might break it. If you have any video on that please let me know. Thank you

i did this to mine but before i even opened the gimbal i figured out it was the cable connected to the mobo. But thanks to you I know how to fix it!

Ok so for people who just cant make their camera to go down or up and seems like its stuck and has debree in it. I think i found a solution where there is no need to open the drone. I cant open it as well cause the screws are way to tight. So the solution i did was i tilt the drone where the camera is directed towards the ground and then i massage the camera up and down until i feel that there are no more stuck debrees inside the gimdal. I believe doing this somehow made my foreign object somehwhat fall on the ground as i was massaging it. In any case i hope it fix your annoying problem.

I got right up until removing the cover from the drone camera and it’s just a steel plate so can’t lubricate the camera head! Process still fixed the issue by just lubricating surrounding parts

luckily it was grass terrain, so the gimbal was just moved out of it's socket, if it was concrete it would be bye bye... my second crash and first drop from the sky -survived, uf

Good afternoon. After the fall, I had to replace the 3in1 cable after it broke, but error 40002 did not disappear. After starting, the gimbal works on all axes and then the cable (3in1 which was replaced) gets stuck and starts to heat up in the place of attachment on the gimbal board (on top).

I tried this and the step by step was easy to follow. Thank you for that. Unfortunately it didn’t resolve the issue. My story, as many I’m sure, hit a tree and it fell and crashed. Replaced a propeller and tested it out and it worked great. Tried it again and then the stuck gimbal error occurred. Should I just send it to DJI? Or try something else? Appreciate any suggestions given.

I just received a replacement mini 2 in the shrunk wrapped package and got gimbal stuck message right out of the box! I am not happy.

Hey ! Does this can fix my drone if the motor still turn when I turn on my drone ? Or if the motor work when I turn on my drone but then don't work with the controler I have to change the cable ?

Oh wow.... so the motors inside were trashed.... probably full of sand and microrocks... you stripped it all RIGHT DOWN to base components in the gimbal? Clean it off and put it back together for it to work? That's super impressive honestly. A lot of patience for a lot of taking apart small motors and cables

What is liquid spray are you using for cleanings

Right now my issue is that the gimbal moves around during the starting sequence but gives me the 4002 message once I connect my phone to it

Hi, I replace the signal cable for camera of Mini 2. When turn drone on about one minute, the motor inside gimbal turned really hot, burn for touch. Is it normal? Or because I cannot recalibrate gimbal, somthe gimbal stuck, anh overheat?

I have dji mavic mini . The problem in my drone was gimbal stuck and imu error (40002&40021) . After this problem , i change the whole gimbal set and 3in1 flex cable . But Bad luck its still not working like previous gimbal . Only top motor move when i start the drone . The roll and pitch motor don't response. Can you help me 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Same error here. But the gimbal also products a huge sizzling noise and abnormal heat when turned on, like it's trying to do something. I've already removed and cleaned just like your video but not using compressed air. Maybe that's the problem 🤔 I'll try using compressed air

Tried everything and it did not work. After a few minutes the gimbal got really hot and I decided to remove the battery. Did I break anything?

There is nothing easy about that teardown. I just purchased a mini 3, and my first flight I have a stuck gimbal. What crap with no easy fix. What crap!

Took mine off, smashed with a hammer, replaced with a refurbished one, seems to work ok now🙂
