That looks like mine, except for the 3 screws on the bottom front and the hose on the right in the back. My fuel stop is not able to move the pump slider, it is stuck. It's on a Kubota L275 tractor. I will look at your other videos to see if you have a pump like mine. Thank you so much for helping people all over the world with repairing their old tractors. 👍👍👍👍👍
Watched the video before rebuilding my d902 injection pump off a rtv900 with a broke spring. Very simple but watch as he puts in the plunger (top only goes one way, but bottom has to be pointed the right direction) they need to be facing just like he shows, I didn’t the first time and it ran bad and smoked worse than with the broke spring then took it back apart and faced the bottom part of plunger just as he shows and runs like new again! (Found a rebuilt kit on ebay dealers do not have so they say) saved me 1k by watching the video vs a brand new pump.
MAKE SURE TO INSTALL THE PLUNGER THE OPPSITE WAY TO WHAT HE SHOWS..I TRIED HIS WAY AND MY ENGINE WOULD NOT TURN OFF..I HAD TO DISCONNECT THE FUEL LINES TO SHUT OFF THE ENGINE THEN REBUILT THE PUMP

It seems like I’m missing the little pins that you are talking about (the one you’ve forgotten). Can it be the case that I don’t have those pins?
I have the same exact injection pump as the one shown in this video.. I rebuilt it exactly the same way, all my plungers are smooth, my rack moves smoothly, but the fuel stop valve does not shut the fuel off after I reinstalled it.. I have removed and reinstalled the pump 3 times to try and make sure I had the stop leaver connected to the rack but every time i reinstall the pump the stop leaver will not stop the fuel flow when I test it. I installed the plungers the same direction as the way you showed in this video and my fuel inlets are on the same sides as yours was, any idea why the stop leaver doesn’t stop the fuel flow?
be careful make sure if the fuel hole is in the right place I install my pump this way and it cause for my engine to ran away luckily I was able to shut it off the way I fix it I install the injection pump plunger the opposite way
@@aldoaguirre1244 yes I did run into this.. I first installed mine the wrong way but I realized this when I tested for fuel injection with the fuel lines disconnected first.. once I saw the fuel shut off was not working I took the pump back apart and reversed the plungers and tested it again before starting and the fuel shut off with the shut off lever so I was good. 👍🏻
Kabayan san ang shop mo? D1503 Kubota Engine. paLinis ko din Fuel pump at makina na din. Low Power at namamatay pag matagal ginamit pero mabubuhay ulit after makapaHinga konti. Salamat
@@tractorsmarinemechanic does the engine need to be at TOP DEAD CENTER on #1 before I remove the pump? how is the pump timed to the engine? I am getting fuel in the oil and the injectors looked good diesel shop says its the pump.
Sir bakit po yong tractor namin kpag biniritan namin ay parang low power sya. Pero kung hindi nmn normal nmn ang andar. Posible ba na injection pump po ba ang problema?sana po mapansin nyo message ko.thank u po
I have a kubota z402 engine, similar to the one in the video, only in 2 cylinders and it starts only when accelerated both when it's hot and when it's cold, I changed the glow plugs and the diesel filter, but it still doesn't start without being accelerated, which is problem?
What kind of tractors or engines do you have?if your injection pump is like this...the fuel is coming from the feed pump or if does not have a feed pump.ypur pump housing is need to replaced a new one.
@@tractorsmarinemechanic its a Shibaura S753 engine. The pump out for repairs and as yet I don't know that its leaking down the sleeves or not I just wanted to ask the question. The shut off rail was seized on full, showed signs of minute rust but I now have that working again. I am fitting new O rings tomorrow to the outlet fittings the old ones are stuffed. I did have it working for several manual pushes on each plunger but then it stopped pumping again and thats when I noticed the air coming from the O rings. As a passing point it wouldn't start, at all, but after coaxing it I did get it going but then it wouldn't shut off, I had to choke the engine at the intake, you couldn't see the yard for blue and white smoke. One injector was running at full noise it had become disconnected from the shut off rail and was jammed on full. They were miles out of singing from the same song sheet.
@@tractorsmarinemechanic it was doing that when I bought it not after I took it to bits, its still apart for a few more days as I have other work to do.
Hello my friend I have a Kumiai satoh St1840 that has diesel in crankcase with the engine oil after using it ...can this be the part that has failed? My father was using tractor and then smoke white first then black came out of exhaust when he turned it of he checked the oil dipstick and found out it had mixed diesel and motor oil...
Thank you for the video! I have kubota L5740 and my fuel line going from the tank to the filter got plugged up completely. Something is in the tank that I need to remove and clean it. I used a compressor to clean the line, but the tractor still won’t start now. I removed the hard lines and no fuel is squirting out of injection pump once or ever. What could be wrong? Thanks!
@@tractorsmarinemechanic do you mean the fuel shut off valve? No, it’s working as expected. Fuel is filling the filter cup if I open the valve. I also have a mechanical pump between the filter and the injection pump. It does squirting fuel, but I’m not sure if it’s working properly or not. Fuel comes out in pulses in small amounts. Thank you

@@tractorsmarinemechanic all good chief, I am just working on one for an S753 Shibaura engine. Looks like it needs new O rings at the top of the pump. No website mentioned to replace them. I found they leaked after putting a reverse flow of air through them.
I was watching your video and thanks for doing it. My G4200 started with a leak on the manifold for the injection pump. I replaced the gasket but still had the same leak plus picked up a leak on one of the injectors. I replaced the two "O" rings on the injector and installed another gasket. I still have the leak, it loks like it might be oil with gas coming out. The motor tries to start a little but never does run plus the leak comes out at the gasket. Is there a chance that I am pressurizing the motor due to an injection pump leak and forcing the oil-gas out? Hopefully you will have the time to assist me.
8:44 that pin that slides into that other part is whats giving us trouble. It’s very very stiff to put in, but once it’s fully seated, it turns fine and has about 1/8 of end play. No rust, no burrs. No idea why it’s so stiff.
@@gerardoluebano5200 I had the same issue, I made 100% sure the sleeve was clean before sliding in the “pin” which is called a plunger.. no matter how clean I had it or what kind of lube I tried it would only go in so far and then would stick.. so what I finally ended up doing was using some 1500 grit wet sand paper and put the plunger in my cordless drill and spun it in the sand paper until it slid in and out of the sleeve like all the other ones.. I ended with 2000 grit to polish the pin out nicely so it looked like the others.. after I did this I had no issues with installing it and putting it back together. The issue I have now is my stop leaver doesn’t stop the fuel flow, i tried to make sure many times to let the rack sit into the stop leaver so I think I had it in there but no matter what I try I can’t get the fuel to slip flowing when the stop leaver is activated.. I also know my plunger is facing the correct direction with the “M30” stamp facing towards the fuel inlet so I know I don’t have the plunger in backwards. I’m stumped
@@BiffsEquipment did the stop lever (leaver) work properly before you disassembled everything? If so you created the problem. Disassemble it again and do it by the book.
does the slider with the rod on the side of the rack control fuel delivery from the governor? I am wondering if mine is stuck because I cleaned up the injectors and a few of the stuck delivery valves inside the rack and when I started it, it took off to full RPMs and ran away. I got it to shut down, but this may be my issue? If that slider with the rod isn't moving freely, could it be stuck to fully open and cause the runaway?
Exactly sir...you must remove your pump out and dismantle to clean rock and rod and also maybe some plunger was stuck.thank you for watching.kindly share, like and subscribe.
@@tractorsmarinemechanic do I need to remove the whole pump or can I disconnect the arm that is connected to the rod (it has a cotter pin attached to the end of the rod, holding the arm on, I can access that if I remove the plate on the side of the pump) and then just remove the rack from the top of the pump without removing the entire injection pump?
Hello my freind. I have D750 kubota engine just like this. It does not have a water pump and since the thermostat is is located near the rediator more than the water jacket it will not give the exact temperature in the jacket. Im planning to install a 12 volt water pump. What is your advise plzz

Why did you adjust the fuel screw for the rack at the end? Was it out of adjustment when it came in? Or did you have to adjust it to compensate for something?
@@tractorsmarinemechanic was the idle or rpm off because you rebuilt the pump or was it a separate issue? Also I heard that once you remove the delivery valves they have to be re-timed. Is this true? If so how would you put the delivery valves back in time?
I do not know what I liked more, the commentary, the way parts were contaminated more for the install than when removed, the use of kitchen utensils in the install, the manicure or the mix and match of components into new locations after being beaten against ceramic surfaces - oh the third world !
