is it normal that when i click on gta v launcher, it opens rockstar games because when i saw other tutorials it was like a totally different screen that said "downloading missing files"
You more than likely had/have a corrupted file. I found mine in x64e > vehicles. Some of my modded files were corrupted. To fix in OpenIV I removed the modded vehicles one by one in x64e file extracted it to a named folder I made (vehicle mods) I then in OpenIV went NOT to the mod folder but regular/vanilla x64e extracted to a folder I named Vehicle Vanilla. I then replaced the modded folder in the MOD folder of OpenIV with the Vanilla one. If your game starts it’s a vehicle messed up. I then went and one by one re-added the modded vehicles back in and clicked on them to make sure there were no errors on them to turn the game back on. For some reason corrupt files within the main files aren’t always read when verifying the integrity. You gotta get in there yourself like the above examples.
