Okay so I spent 20mins on inline skates for the first time in 15 years or so and wow, the foot turning inward was killing me. Keen to try again and will give this a go.
today is 2nd day of my learning...I immediately got to know this problem my left leg is not trustable.. LOL... saw a bunch of videos...but your one is amazing...keep them coming
@@IndianSkateNoob how much time it takes you to fix the inward ancle of the left leg? I am trying my best to get on left leg....dar lagta hai girne ka🤣
Wow, after watching so much videos on learning it, finally found a channel worth it. Btw, regarding why we feel inward ankle bend more safe, I have noticed myself. While we are on normal position i.e. no bend position, our leg is more prone to bend in any direction. If we go for outward bend, our leg feels that friction could make our leg unbalanced thatswhy, I guess inward bend is preffered by our brain
My 6 year old son is using Cosco ABEC-7, Sprint max wheel skates. His right ankle is bending inside. Will these exercises help or can you please suggest some more remedies
Han bhai agli baar se camera thoda upar rakhunga. Mujhe laga tha ki focus ankle pe rakhna hai isleye neeche rakhna better rahega shayad. Shukriya bhai, bohot shukriya! ❤️😁
Good one, man. I've been quad skating since I was 4, I did it regularly until I was about 15. Later due to some reasons I could not continue skating. Currently, I'm in my early 20s... I just picked up Slyk Sterling 3x100mm inline skates, thank you for recommending. They're really good for what they cost. Inline skating feels much different than I originally anticipated when compared to quad skating... Balancing sure has some learning curve. But I'm pretty confident that I'll catch-up. - Anyway, I really want to appreciate your contribution towards India's skating scene especially inline skating.
It is not clear in your video whether you are wearing hard boot or soft boot. Does angle bending problem happen with hard boot also or it is caused by soft boot?
I have a problem! My feet are buckling outward and causing trouble in balancing! Is that weird? How do I avoid outward bend of feet. Also since the plastic surrounds the ankle, when my foot buckles outward, it causes slight pain. Lastly, even 15 minute practice with skates causes slight pain in the foot especially in the middle. How do I avoid this? What could I be doing wrong? 😭 Please help!
Both outward and inward bent of feet are manifestations of the same problem of a lack of balance. It'll improve with time and practice, both on skates and off skates. Also, are you sure you don't have flat feet? Because two of my friends have the same pain problem in their feet and both of them have flat feet so please check once.
@@IndianSkateNoob Should i practice indoors on smooth surfaces such as marble or outdoors on high friction surfaces? I think the latter is better...please advice... 👍
The ultimate goal is to obviously be able to skate on rough surfaces, but I'll recommend starting with smooth surface and then gradually increasing the roughness of the surface for practice. A lot of brakes and slides can be first learnt easily on smooth surfaces and then shifted to adapt on rough surfaces too.
Thank you bhai! Please check this video out for detailed information about the various inline skates available in India ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TaGbphGB4_A.html
