HELP!!! I've tried this and when I hold the power button the apple logo does not show up at all unless I release it and then it shows up and goes back to recovery mode. I cant even get an appointment with apple because I cant get my verification code.
What if the power button is stuck & wont work? Im asking because i recently bought a iphone 4s for 3$. Was working almost fine but i wanted to update from ios6 to ios 8 or 9 & it wouldnt work from the phone itself so ive tried updating many times via itunes with recovery mode & it just says somethinn along the lines of (software update failure) on my windows laptop. After that its stuck on recovery mode. Does anyone know if theres something else i could do? Per say can i try and jailbreak the iphone while its on recovery mode? Anything will work as long as i can get back to the homescreen, genuenly dont care anymore as long as it turns back up on the homescreen.. im trying to re update right now but im not sure if itll work this time since it suggested to restore the iphone & update afterwards meaning to delete the iphone & re update, in case this doesnt work.. will there be some fix? I honestly dont wanna jailbreak since i believe it makes the iphone not accept any sim card anymore but i might be wrong on that.. if i have to then yes illd just jailbreak it. Another thing i should mention is that after trying to update the first time the apple logo changed from the old school ios 6 one to the ios8/9 one but it still shows as no update? Any help would be greatly appreciated
@@shleepye hey, i think i replied to u befire idk where the comment went.. And not sure if you got it fixed yet but just still replying So, i got it to the store, and they said it has a hardware issue now since the software fixing isnt getting it fixed, gotta replace the "NAND IC Chip" (i think it was called this), its gonna be a bit costly i think but then your phone will be good as new again
