I'll have to try the wet gasket. Usually I just tighten the pot as hard as it will go. A silicone gasket is more durable than the regular rubber gasket, I've had the rubber gaskets dry out and melt to the pots before. Another tip is to store the pot loosely assembled so that it's not tightened when not in use. This will keep the gasket from being compressed and should extend the life of the gasket.

Thank you so much! I was struggling with a new moka pot I recently bought and couldn't get a good brew, it would sputter or take so long to come out and already burned. This tip + really tightening the pot solved it, thanks!

Just wanted to thank you for this solution. It’s been irritating me this past week as I couldn’t figure out how to resolve the leakage. I was almost about to send the brickka back when i found this video. Wonder why the seal needs to be soaked? But it worked! Thanks again

i unscrewed the top piece and removed a rubber part, no foam... 4 cup is much bigger than i thought it'd be, thought i had 3 cup but maybe it's more like 2, barely enough to fill a pretty small cup but the 4 cup one seem to fill about 1.5 of my cup

scalded my hand pretty badly when it started spitting water. guess one has to pull it of earlier, or maybe just ignoring it until it stops. or wear some sort of protection.

If brikka valve only spurtting only one side (when it supposed to be two), is it normal or is there anything wrong with the valve?

i tried brewing with paper filter but the coffee didn't flow out.. it got too hot and began smoking but still no coffee.. i don't know what's wrong with it.. tried it twice, same thing happened, then decided not to use the paper filter anymore 😢

Is that a word that has something to do with whistling? 😂 You also said grams but then mentioned nothing about crackers or older people who have grandchildren. 😂 I will give this water trick a try and let you know what happens.
