Why is my HVAC leaking? How to fix HVAC? After a long sleepless night of what sounded like the dogs peeing in our house, we got up to find that our evaporator coil condensate pan was overflowing and leaking. The indoor unit has a pan to collect the condensate from the evaporator coil and there are a few reasons why this system fails and water spills out. Luckily, Aimee's dad was in HVAC for 30+ years and gave us a couple ideas to work with. We first troubleshooted for a possible clog, but soon realized that probably wasn't the issue. Look, we are not professionals with HVAC and all our knowledge on the issue is beginner at best. This video is not a supplement for a professional evaluation.
