If the gamepad is in warranty period then it's best to get it checked first. Else you can try buying the dongle if nothing else works as a last attempt.

It should work just like mine did, plug and play. However, if it doesn't connect automatically, then try connecting the dongle to pc and then pressing the home button for 5-10 seconds on nebula, that should do the job. You''ll have to try connecting on your own since mine worked without any such troubleshooting.

Well mine clearly worked as you can see in the video. Try pressing and holding the home button for a few seconds as soon as you insert the dongle to pc. One of the users confirmed in the past that this method worked for him/her for Ares. Also, I couldn't find the Amazon/Flipkart link. Only seems to be available in official site. If this doesn't work either, contact the customer care team and get it either replaced or returned. When did you buy Nebula?

Did you buy the new ares dongle? The new one is only for ares 2023 models as mentioned in their specifications. Mine is an older model. Buy the Nebula receiver instead.

I'm pretty sure your friend's Ares is the old one just like mine. New Ares controllers' dongles are not compatible. Do confirm. You can either buy the redgear pro dongle or the Nebula dongle. Links are in description.

Thanks, but what really happened is that my usb is with me, only i think it's broken as it doesn't connect with my Cosmic Byte Callisto, but the lights on the usb do work. I dont know if my gamepad has some issues or the usb. Anyways, i will test my gamepad with the older Ares usb and also, which usb should I buy as a replacement??

I'm not sure where you can get a replacement for the original dongle. But I do remember someone telling me somewhere that this dongle works with other gamepads too. You may try buying this one to check if it solves the issue though I cannot confirm it will work 100%. Do let me know how it turns out.

I do not have a callisto gamepad so I would not be able to check it. However, Callisto and red gear pro gamepads are complete lookalikes which means that there dongles should work with each other as well. Hi I have both ares and nebula controllers and their dongles..however my ares dongle gives lots of connection issues and the dongle doesn't fit properly to my usb ports in my laptop where all others work absolutely fine... Is there Any way how to connect my ares 2023 model to my nebula receiver ?

the ares dongle that you bought is only for the latest ares gamepads. You should buy the nebula dongle instead. The dongle for the older ares gamepads (like my ares) is no longer available anywhere.

Hopefully it will work for you too. I think these new Ares receivers are only for latest Ares gamepads.

I didn't even know of this gamepad and just checked it out. I'm assuming its the speedlink you are referring to. It looks quite similar to the redgear pro. Generally most of these sort of controllers work with the same type of dongles. I've explained it a bit better in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Gi_oz1hxyrQ.html. I would suggest you get the redgear pro dongle to see if its compatible, if yes then well and good otherwise you can always return it.

If you are referring to the new ares dongles then those might not work as they are compatible with the latest ares gamepads only as mentioned in their product descriptions. This video was uploaded before that dongle was released.

I don't have a shooter 2 gamepad to confirm. However, upon a quick google search, seems that the dongles look quite similar. You can try buying this dongle to see if it works. If it doesn't then you'll only end up wasting a few hundred rupees. But if it works then you'll save a lot more with the same gamepad.
