How to fix macbook bluetooth problem

Thanks Manny, after being frustrated with my bluetooth connection from my Macbook this video is a life saver. I can vouch that it works for my particular issue which is bluetooth either not appearing in my Macbook bluetooth playlist or if it appear it doesn't want to connect. By following the guide from this video it works like a charm.

what is this option button that u talking about? I cannot find it. and somehow i was able to get something but it looks nothing like what is shown in your video.

My bluetooth icon in the top menu bar is gray. I hover & hold SHIFT-OPTION, but nothing happens. I've tried a dozen times to turn bluetooth on & nothing happens. Any ideas?

Last solution "Delete Bluetooth PLIST Files" worked for me on 22/06/2022 in Macbook Air M1 2020. First option is not available for M1 chips, I guess. Thanks.
