I listened to this from my iPhone to fix my Mac computer’s sound ....thank you a 1,000 times over, taking the sound all the way down to mute and then back up worked! I had tried everything I could think of and nothing was working, then found this video...wow, who would have thought something so simple would do the trick!
bro i watched this vid, see how to fix it and see if the volume still works, and i just unplugged and replugged my headphones (logitech not airpods lol) and i could control the sound again, so idk what caused this cuz i booted up my imac like 4 hours ago, after 3h 50 it like stopped working
After my cat ran across my keyboard, he messed up alot, I couldn’t control my option to sound anymore, I went to my preferences and that did the trick…lol . so simple but thank you
internal speakers work but the headphone jack does not, i tried with both my IEMs and DT770s. OS sees ive connected a device but i get no audio. its an A1311 running arch linux. i booted into another iso with known working audio and the jack still isnt working. what's happening?
Hi, guys, I have an iMac so what I did I went to keyboards in settings and I pressed something called dictation. it has a little microphone next to it I turned it off and my sound came back on you guys can try that.
Incredibly, what solved the problem for me was to insert a pencil lead into the sound jack. Open the sound options, insert the pencil lead and you will see how it changes. Unbelievable.
That did not help and the sound won't come back I played with all of the settings... suddenly siri started from nothing and then all of my sound disappeared....
One way to fix it is tell Siri to turn sound on, it may already be on but somehow the glitch turns it off and only Siri turns it back on. Some weird bug I think
i have my sound back all i did is look up where u see the X u well see a like a looking mute button and press the left side on your mouse and press the unmute site and thats is how i got my sound back i hope this helps !!! :))
