1. Open your Google Chrome web browser.
2. Type downdetector.com in the web address bar, and press the Enter key on your keyboard.
3. Scroll down the page to Facebook, and click on it to open a server status page of Facebook.
4. You will find here the details about the server status of Facebook.
5. If the Facebook app on your phone is outdated then update it.
6. Try to log out and re-login on Facebook.
7. In your Google browser, click on the menu icon at the top right.
8. From the menu drop-down list, click on the Clear browsing data.
9. Make sure that All time is selected in the Time range and all checkboxes are selected.
10. Click on the Clear data button to clear the Cache.
11. Check your internet connection to work fine.
12. You can perform one more step.
13. Click on the three vertical dots of the menu at the top right.
