Winston, thank you so so much!!! You save me a callout I cant afford . I cant tell you how many times I sat outside on the ground trying to figure out other youtube instructions. Yours were simple.
Just finished fixing my gate now at 2.20am! It was making noise non stop, opening and closing by itself. I followed your tutorial and its fixed!!! You are the best!! I want to donate a few cents to you! you helped me thanks a lot
Glad the video helped and I am excited that you want to donate. However, the video is there for you to save money. Best you can do for me is, share the video and spread the love...stay blessed
Wow, what an amazing video. Just followed the video to reset my motor after replacing the nylon tracks on the gate! Initially the motor wouldn’t verify the endstop 2, but after trying the second time it verified both endstops. It is working perfectly now!! Danko!!
Chair this was a nice one. Helped us fix ours. It couldn’t see our origin magnet. We just needed to redo and redo it till it found it. You’re the best Gee!

Hi mate, everything you did is the setup programming for the gate motor that is all good except for some minor faults. Once you turn the manual release to lock the gearbox again it is important to pull on the gate again to make sure the gearbox has engaged to avoid that "klunk" sound you heard. Also make sure the gate is closed half way or the designated pedestrian opening (for instance 1m open) lock the the gearbox, pull the gate and then do the settings that you did. Another way to avoid changing settings is to manually close the gate halfway, lock the gearbox, pull on the gate and then trigger the gate to close via a remote or button. That also gets rid of the max collision error. I noticed that you have the steel rack fitted on the gate, in time if the rack is not correctly space onto the gear of the motor it will cause a problem with that gear also. For the dirt build up, there is gate brooms (mr. Sweepy is whats its called in my area) that you can mount onto the gate on either side of the wheels to sweep that dirt away as the gate opens and closes. Another important thing for any sliding gate is, once the gate is on manual use it is important to take notice of how much force is used to either open or close the gate. The gate has to move with ease (be able to push with one finger). If there's a lot of force needed then it's best to inspect the wheels as a collapsed bearing will cause max collision errors also. All in all, great helpful video for anybody who has a Centurion gate motor. Centurion motors will hate me for saying this, the old D3, D5 and 1st edition Centurion motors was more stable and actually never gave so much of problems with collision errors. Ps. Not insulting you in any way, I am merely giving more pointers as I am a installer of all makes of gate motors. Peace be with you mate.
Ndza khensa swinnene ngopfu... I have been battling with this for sometime now and was reluctant to initiate a call out because I was certain this is a minor issue. I just fixed mine and i can say it works perfect now. This video just made my day thanks again. 🤟😁😇😎🙏
Yes it worked for me. We returned from a holiday to find the gate would only open part way. The Centsys D5 Evo interface is user friendly. It was an easy matter to run the gate limits as shown in this video. Just be sure to answer the question "Is the gate open?" correctly. After the limits were set when I tested it, it stopped halfway with a "battery error" message. So I had to replace the 7.2AH battery (simply disconnected old one and connected new one, without powering-off), re-did the the gate limits once again. And then everything is fine now. Thanks.
Thank you buddy so so much, I was unable to leave home for two days I could only walk😩🫣. Anyways mine didn’t get that fix immediately even after following you, even manual was failing since the motor was locked🔒. I had to remove that rotating wheel totally off the gate after cleaning the tracks. It only worked then after I removed the entire thing. And I somehow ended on settings that were talking about the opening and closing of the gate and I don’t even know how I got there. But anyways thank you, I am sorted, thank you so so much. Let me go and drive once again🚙🔥🥵😊.
