For the first time it worked now after few days it stopped working like before. I am repeating the process but it's not working 😭😭😭

@@skzahirulislam2820 Don't worry. This method cleans only dust or rust on the switches points which comes after usage. If this method is not working then it is understood that the switches are totally gone bad . But you still don't have to worry. These switches are easily available in the electronics market. You just have to desold or remove the bad switches and buy the similar switches and place them then sold . That's it. It will work like a new keyboard. And if you can't do it yourself then any electrician near you will do it for you for some charges . Hope you understand.

If it is same as WD-40 and can clean rust/dust and carbon and if it is non acidic. Then it can be used . @@techzone9253 When it comes to being a leading brand for South Africa, there is plenty of ways to use Q20 in the home, the garden as well as industry as a whole. This is one product that protects and lubricates, stops rust in its tracks and displaces moisture. From this I am assuming it's non acidic from what google is saying ....😕

This product was invented based off WD-40 so should be the same ...

Lol if it doesn't work it's prob something to do with the keyboard itself cuz the hole one row from caps lock to enter doesn't work which is strange since it's usually random...... else isn't relivant to Q20 tho xd

1. First treat these two keys as per the video. 2. Check all the keys one by one that no other key is bad because the same thing happens when any other key is shorted. And treat the bad key as per the video. 3. Open the keyboard and check that it is clean and clean all the jacks. 4. It may also be that the covers of the keys have been changed۔

I don't think the factory would lubricate the mechanical keyboard switches because there is no need for it. If the key works by pressing another key then it might be a software issue or some shortage in the PCB . Any how good luck and thanks again ☺️

Any liquid which can clean the dust or carbon can be used ۔ and also use any liquid which is not acidic . If this method doesn't work for you then don't worry about it and no need to buy a new me mechanical keyboard. You have to change only the defective switch, that's it. For you this method is not working then its mean the defective swithe or switches are totally gone bad . But still there is no need to buy a new keyboard. @@techzone9253 Oh heck yeah!Iam waiting for more videos though.However my keyboard still mulfuctions from time to time even though I have Did everything,Is this just the mechanical switches dying?Or what?My keyboard is a logitech k845,I hope if my mechanical switches die,I can replace them.And the lights are still on sometimes they work complete fine,and Sometimes they don`t even type for 5 seconds.

the reason why i made this comment instead is because the keyboard in this video is old, which means the problem is most likely it being dirty, but mine is brand new and am having trouble with the keys

Mechanical keyboard have each key separate switch. So you just have to open the keyboard and remove only the W key switch and replace the broken switch with new one . When your father hit the defective swithes 3 times . May be by hitting the dust or some carbon removed and the key started working it was your luck because hitting is not the proper way for cleaning. Next time becarefull maybe by hitting you can demage your keyboard. One thing more some times WD-40 also can't fix the keyboard its mean the switch is damaged But don't worry and never throw your mechanical keyboards. Because these switches are available in the electronics market and you can replace it thats it . So never worry and don't try hitting method in this way you may demage your keyboard. Dear this method mostly works when there is dust or carbon in the switches but if the swith of a mechanical keyboard is totally damaged or connection points of a switch are demaged then this method will not work for you . But dear you don't have to worry because mechanical keyboard have each and every switch separate working mechanism. If one of your mechanical keyboard switch or key is not working then you don't have to change the whole keyboard. You just have to change the defective switch. And its not so hard to change the switches . With a little effort you can do it yourself . just open the keyboard carefully and desold or remove the defective switch and buy the same from market , replace it and sold again . Dear mouse have different type of materials . Like rubber , plastic ect ect . But keyboard switches dont have rubber . They have little part of good quality plastic and metal . I tried so many times to clean the switches to work properly. WD-40 never damaged the switches. But don't use it for mouse .

If this method is not working for your keyboard then it is understood that the switches of your keyboard are totally gone bad and need to replace. . Still you don't need to buy a new keyboard. Just replace the bad switches with new ones . These switches are easily available in the electronics market. So don't worry and replace the bad switches and your keyboard will be like new one . 😊

Thanks for contacting me dear . Actually WD40 is 80% rust cleaner and 20% is a lubricant solution. It cleans rust and also a little bit lubricant. Yes contact cleaner also a good option to clean the dust . But in my opinion the WD40 is the best . Thanks again and have a nice day 💕💕💕

Thank you very much sir for contacting me. If you don't have WD40 then you can use any non acidic liquid or solution that can clean dust and carbon which comes on the points after usage. The main purpose of this method is to clean the dust and carbon on the points. Remember use only NON ACIDIC solution. And if this method doesn't work then don't worry. You don't have to buy a new keyboard. Just replace the defective switch. Which is easily available in the market.. hope you got the answer..
