Thanks for watching! Please consider subscribing to my new channel here: www.youtube.com/@jamminpcs. I'm trying to move the easier hardware stuff there so that I can focus on the more in depth troubleshooting and diagnostic videos here :)
Hi! Thought I'd write to say thanks and to let you know that my solution wasn't in your video, but your video led me to discover it so I thought I'd let you know so you know another alternate problem. Firstly my msi is a PC, so things were slightly different, but thanks to your clear instruction I followed along fine. I left mine downloading when I went out and came back to the issues, at the end of your video I got up to the stage of system restore, and the PC told me this wasn't possible due to not enough disk space, so it seems that is my entire problem. Now trying to work out how to remove some files to make space. Thanks so much for your video!
@@PC_Monkey I don't suppose you've ever done a video on how to access and move files while your PC won't start properly? I can easily enough delete them all and my PC will work again, but trying to work out how to delete just some so it has room to start up for me to get things off it without losing them.
A friend told me you should never blow into any device or component because your mouth will release moisture that can damage it. What do you think of this advice?
Hi sir pls reply I have Acer aspire 7 idk what happened but my laptop can't can my fingerprint and in pin it says pin isn't available set up new pin But it can't work and I tried shift+reset but I can't get troubleshoot option Pls sir let me know how I can reset it
1. Can you try the steps seen here? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UX6xE6zSF3w.html 2. Also, did anything happen before this issue appeared? Overheating, liquid spill, Windows update, etc?
I have this problem on my Modern 14, it was only 1 week old, I got the issue after I tried to restart and suddenly have an automatic update from Windows, then this happens after the Laptop turning on
Hello, I wrote before and the advise was useful so I need help again.Well my friend needs it.He has hp 2000 with is really old and has intel celeron 1000m( the speed is 1.8Ghz and can't go more than that 2 cores and 2 treads) the socket is g2 and we are thinking of upgrading it to i5 2450m or i7 2670qm. The problem is that when he is gaming(on small games like forager, Roblox etc.) it sometimes can reach 75gecrees C.I got new thermal paste and changed it before that it reached 85 so I guess now is a lot better but we are worried that with the i7 it will overheat. He use it for school( mostly PowerPoint, chrome browsing and stuff like that).Oh and it had 4gb ram we got one stick 8gb and how has 12gb 1600Mhz if you need the ram too.Can you tell me which will be better the i5 or i7(the difference in price is around 13dollars so the price isn't problem). Thanks👍.
If you are worried about overheating, the i5 is definately a better option. With some older computers / motherboards, you cant simply upgrade everything. You will have OS issues and overheating issues. i5 may be your best bet. After that, you may just need to upgrade the computer :(
Hi i need help mu tuf gaming f17 isnt turning on it was on earlier but trhn it said going in to hibernating mode and it turned off thrn i held down the power button and it gave me the option to power it of so. Idid ans now its not turning on
1. For a computer that does not turn on, try this video first; ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kOBY4k2Mn_k.html. Let me know how that goes :) 2. Also, did anything happen before this issue appeared? Overheating, liquid spill, Windows update, etc?
@@PC_Monkey nope nothing happend it does show a bit of life because I was holding the power button and the keys lighted up for less than a second but then just went back to being dead but il try the video thanks!
Remember to check the FAQ's on my videos! It could save you time getting an answer to common questions :) If you cannot change the settings in BIOS, or if changing them does not help, continue on with the rest of the video. What was the result of the diagnostic scan?
My msi gf 63 doesn't boot without a power adapter but when I open the bios it runs on battery for about 6 7 hours (without power adapter) But when I boot it to windows it then again shuts down after the msi logo (without power adapter) I've replaced the battery nothing happened I reinstalled windows nothing happened Service center people are crazy they say the mobo is faulty and for mobo replacement I have to give the price of the new laptop 😞 Please help sir 😢
1. Definately an operating system error would be my first guess since its fine in BIOS but not in Windows. Have you tried the steps seen here? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uBr5XmtmKKM.html. Updating and the driver fixes? 2. Also, what Windows version did this computer have originally and what is it using now?
@@dr.psychopath1406 It may be that the new drivers dont work with Win11 and that battery :( I would try uninstalling the battery drivers, restarting the computer, and then reinstalling the updates. If that does not work, you can try replacing the battery but most likley thats not the issue. It could just be an update will fix it in the future
My dell latitude 5500 starts up until the welkom( the singin page ) after that it shuts down (only if the cable is not conected . And if the battery is higher then 70% thennit turns on without anny problems
1. Can you run the diagnostic test as seen here? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-B2Umoh81QeI.html 2. Also, did anything happen before this issue appeared? Overheating, liquid spill, Windows update, etc?
What brand and model computer do you have and whats the issue with it? Also, did anything happen before this issue appeared? Liquid spill, overheating, Windows update, etc?

HEY Pc monkey my old Acer will not turn on and is still stuck in a boot lop (I watched your video) And nothing worked and I can’t click any buttons I need help can you tell me the issue
1. So you cant get into BIOS at all? You tired all the function keys? 2. Also, did anything happen before this issue appeared? Overheating, liquid spill, Windows update, etc?
It’s not mine it was my grandfathers who died and my dad asked me to delete everything on the computer and after that I cant get past the options screen
@@PC_Monkey no liquid spill and overheating but I was using bios to set fan pwm and when I saved and exit it went to bsod with stop code unmountable boot volume and I have tried many ways shown on RU-vid but it's still not working
um... thats what this video is about... watching the video may help lol. As with any issue with computers, cars, electronics... there are multiple reasons why your seeing the issue your seeing. You have to find out what is causing it before you can know how to fix that issue. Troubleshooting isnt usually a difficult concept to understand. Sry
