Instead of using alcohol try to get yourself some electrical cleaner. It works better.

@@DOOLEY1216 It worked perfectly! i subbed in some medical grade cleaner that was the only thing I had< used a toothbrush to apply and then some comprssed air to blow it out. 15 minutes later it was allworking great! ty

Mine did not get better after doing this. The tech guy said it might be a bad cluster as well.

If your air bag light is on and no gauges work I disconnected the Air bag module and all gauges return to normal air bag module was toast

Lip stick hahaha All my experience is from trial and error. This took all about 15 or 20 minutes (ish) on an afternoon after work. Too bad you have to keep it running all the time but at least you have your dash operational for the time being. What videos would you like me to try and post?

Do you have any videos on simple ways to restore compression life to a 1999 WS six cylinder four liter Jeep engine... My Jeep seems to be a little weak not wore out and it has about 150,000 miles on it... Also, do you have a videos on a soft clutch peddle??? My clutch has to go all the way to the floor before it engages my gears... The shop replaced my pressure plate, clutch, throw-out bearing, clutch arm, etc... And one last request... Do you have a video on replacing the synchro on a standard five speed transmission??? My first gear synchro, I think, went out... Some, guys have said it can be the transmission shaft, but only my first gear kicks out when I try to use it??? I think, these three videos maybe really interesting to make, if you have not already done so...

Main thing is the contacts are cleaned. Would be good if you could get inside the contact slots cleaned but it may not be possible.
