Thank you so much I jumped thru some many warm holes and all pointed to that TPS, which shit design 2009-2014 I believe gen 2 had this design to have it all as part of pedal. I am changing solenoid out first but will use this jump trick thank you
Hello, I have a 2012 club car, looks the same as far as the wiring and such. This unit died while using it. In checking as you show, I do not get battery voltage at the orange wire on solenoid, do have battery voltage on the blue wire and the battery cable. When I pull the connector from the pedal and jump the orange and green wire, nothing no clicks, no starter motor trying to run. Any thoughts?????
I recently cut the black wire on my throttle sensor to stop the engine shut off and when I put a splice in the wire to go back to normal the cart wont start at all.
My club cart (has no spark, that’s another issue) but it only cranks on service mode (neutral) but it won’t crank on any gear (forward or reverse) why?
No spark issue could be coil or the rpm limiter box most two common issues. Unless the wiring is damaged or key switch is bad. If its not cranking in forward or reverse. Need to switch the cam gear on the back of the shifter. This is a yellowish looking part that is spring loaded. You pull back and rotate that the micro switch arm should not be IN gauged when its in neutral.
I have the same cart, I've been told there is a diode in one of the wiring harnesses that runs from key switch to engine area, when it goes out the engine want start. Its not shown on wiring diagram either.Anyone familiar with it??
I'd tear into it and see if I could fix it myself, do exploratory surgery on it - nothing to loose if you break it worse. Screw that buying the whole pedal assembly nonsense. Greedy companies..smh.
I'd be lookin to adapt an automotive tps from a ford or something rather than pay out the wazoo for their whole assembly. To have to buy the whole thing is like the stuff that comes out of the South end of a Northbound hog. ❗️
