This is not about notifications but I hope you can help me with a problem. Since the last update on my watch I find that playing music from my watch to my AirPods is very hit and miss. Sometimes I can listen other times it starts then stops. I used to be able to listen all the time but now it is not working the same. I hope you can give me some advice
'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your Apple Watch. You can try the basic stuff like Make sure that your watch and your AirPods are both up to date. To check for updates on your watch, open the Watch app on your iPhone and go to the My Watch tab. Then tap "General" > "Software Update". To check for updates on your AirPods, go to the "Settings" app on your iPhone, tap "General" > "Software Update", and follow the on-screen instructions. Try resetting your AirPods. To do this, hold down the setup button on the back of the charging case for about 15 seconds until the status light starts flashing amber. Then, open the lid of the case and hold the case next to your iPhone. A setup animation should appear on your iPhone. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the reset. Some other stuff to try are Try forgetting the AirPods from your watch and then reconnecting them. To do this, go to the "Control Center" on your watch, tap the "Connect" button, tap the info button next to your AirPods, and tap "Forget This Device". Then, go through the process of reconnecting your AirPods to your watch. Try resetting your watch. To reset your watch, press and hold the side button and the Digital Crown until you see the power off slider. Drag the slider to power off your watch, and then press and hold the side button again until you see the Apple logo. hope these troubleshooting steps help
what if it's the other way around. I'm not getting sound notifications on my iphone when in rest mode (not silented) since getting my Apple watch. I said to 'mirror my iphone' on the watch and sound is on the phone. Any suggestions
when my phone ia conect with apple watch then my phone notifications sound is silent i.e watsapp and text message notifications sound,, all sound etc are on in my phone but it doesn’t work, but when i disconnect or off my apple watch and phone notifications sound is on, i don’t know how to figure out
So my phone is not getting messages from my watch I receive a message from a group chat on my watch and it doesn’t come out on my phone also I texted on my watch back and it came out on the messages in my phone but I can’t receive any from my phone only my watch? Help please haha
I just spent an hour watching other videos trying to troubleshoot this problem. It wasn't until your suggestion of simply restarting the watch, that I was able to fix it! I honestly didn't even know there was a manual way to do this. Thanks!

But it’s like i get notifications on my Apple Watch from instagram but it doesn’t pop up on my phone when i first got my Apple Watch my notifications was coming to both my iPhone and my Apple Watch but now it’s only going to my Apple Watch smh

Thanks...worked just by turning off phone and watch and restarting. My iwatch was not getting voice messages. Kept saying “no messages.” But it is up to sync now and the iwatch loaded all the ones that weren’t there before.
Does anyone get notifications when it’s on their wrist only? I use to get notifications when it was off my wrist and now it only works when it’s off my wrist

When I turned off the wrist detection that’s when the texts notifications started to work and it seems like when I lift my wrist up my screen still shows ... so is it okay to leave wrist detection off ??

Hi I had my Apple Watch turned off for about 3 months and not all my messages loaded. They were there when I shut it off...Is there a reason why and how do I get them back? Thanks for your help!
iCloud syncing only works between iOS devices - iPhone and iPad. Not the Apple Watch. So if it is off when a message comes through, it won't be there. A side benefit is that if you delete a message on your iPhone that you need to look at, you can still see it on your Apple Watch.
