Guys, make sure to connect the monitor cable to the graphics card port (under motherboard ports), not in the motherboard port. (I made the same mistake)

My services App window only contains nvidia display container. Is there a way to load more as I have no display settings unless I hook up a external monitor.

The problem seems to be about us having a laptop. These devices tend to use the integrated graphics as default so they do not allow users to change display settings through NVIDIA control panel. You can confirm this by going to ''System>Display>Advanced Display Settings'' and look for the device name below the ''Display Information''. If it says anything other than your NVIDIA GPU, you should use your CPU's graphics control centre to make changes regarding display configurations instead. There is not any other way. cable was plugged in my pc not the other thingy, thx for the vid you earn sub because you said something in the video that made me remembered the I plugged the cable into the wrong spot
Have a 1050 ti and did all of the above which is consistent with several different videos on the same subject. It's still not showing display settings for me after several reboots, updates, etc. Edit: Bought a mini display port to display port cable and that fixed it. Was previously using HDMI (not sure what version)
I followed through with this but it did not work. I am on PC with a ryzen 5700g and 3070ti, i followed all of the steps i double checked. It did not work

I got solution for laptop users: Check whether ur laptop has mux switch u can see that option in bios Change it to nvidia then il have display options in control panel and performance boost in all games and desktop browsing that's it.

In some monitors, the gsync option will appear just with Display port cable. This happened with my AOC 27” HERO G2 and RTX3060. I solved by using the display port.
Guys , when ever I plug in my hdmi cable into my graphic card my monitor does not turn on , but when I plug it in motherboard my monitor turns on and when I try to update my graphic cards it says that my system did not detect a graphic card pls help
@@Fake_Slicer yes I did , and when I tried to update nvidia graphics it says graphic card not detected but it turns on and works perfectly when it’s plugged in my pc
IF you're trying to stretch your screen and it's not working, search up intel and click on INTEL GRAPHIC command and from there go to display then click on scale and change it to stretch. You're welcome
Is this only available on specific graphics cards cuz I have a GTX1650 laptop and have tried everything and display settings still don’t pop up for me on the control panel
I just swapped my 6500xt to my rtx 3060 and i did everything I did to install the rtx (using ddu and stuff like that). After installing NVIDIA drivers it’s not showing g sync.
So I think I cant do this because I have a ryzen 5800h and an rtx 3050 in my laptop so I cant get it in either software so please help me get resolution settings in either one of them

Hey! So I seem to have an intel graphics card as well that is by default tackling my display settings. I would like to disable G-sync to maximise the frames for a game I am playing as I am currently capped at 60 fps. I have turned the fps cap setting off etc and am lead to believe that it is due to G-sync but as the display and video settings do not show up for me I cannot disable G-sync. If anyone can help me I'd be greatful! :)
did you connect the cable to the video card port ? I had the same problem because i've connected to the motherboard displayport. (displayport is like hdmi). Let me know if that helped you.
i have this issue is when i use nvidia control panel settings where my game looks more colorful it shows on my monitor but when i see my stream on streamlabs it looks like my control panel settings are not going to my stream display and it looks like i didnt change anything
