here is the answer : your usb contain GPT typo partition or MBR ! TV CAN READ only MBR type partition . Turn your USB GPT to MBR = Solved ! 1. How do I remove GPT protective partition? To resolve the "protective" issue on a GPT partition and make it usable again, the following two workarounds would help. Step 1. Open Command Prompt as Administrator, and type diskpart and hit Enter. Click "Yes" to open Diskpart. Step 2. Type the following command lines one by one and press "Enter" each time: list disk / select disk 1 (Replace 1 with the disk number of the gpt disk) / clean / convert mbr / exit . Then use Disk Management to format USB. That's all
My TV is Hisense 65" 4 k. And sees all my USB music sticks. BUT one ?? And that works fine in the car and pc. But not on TV. It is formated to fat. Just like the others ,???? Any ideas ??
I have sandisk 64 gb pendrive... As per your instruction i changed the format as efat file format but still it doesn't shown in my samsung tv... If anyother possible solution means let me know... It will helpful for me
@@shwetankgautam9329 if your Pendrive is exFAT, & if you are unable to convert it to FAT32 or NTFS Download a software in your Computer: *AOMEI Partiton* (FAT32 have some restrictions, once Google it...)
When I connect 128 GB pendrive. "It keeps disconnecting and reconnecting". I tried to remove and re-insert. Also tried to put the pendrive in another USB port but none worked. Then I tried another pendrive of 8GB but still the same issue. However same pendrive is working fine on other devices like laptops.
I plug in my usb to my lg smart tv, the file pops up on screen, but I'm not able to select anything. The arrows dont work. I even change the input to the usb. Anyone run into this?
Thanks so much @hdckdsadd! Tried everything but nothing seemed to work until I found this comment. I have a 500 gb ssd (usb drive) btw and in my case I had to change it from GPT to MBR and format it as NTFS and this got it working and my Android TV finally detected the usb drive immediately. Regarding "how to change from GPT to MBR or the other way around" depending on your needs, simply follow this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AzojtcgEsbI.html
The thing is that when I put a 21gb video in my 32gb usb would not let me unless I change the format to NTFS. How can I make it work then on a TV if there is no way getting that video inside my usb unless its NTFS?
