First, is the motor running after you open or close the door. If not, look at the settings to see if you have the boards turned off. If that is not the case, check the fuse and wiring. If the motor is running then the following applies. The process is a pain, but there are two ways. First, spray as much lube into the bushings at the ends of the pins. The bushings are on the outside of the arms. Once you have hit all 16 points, then open the door. As the motor is running apply pressure with your foot to drive the board down and out. You may have to cycle this several times to get it done. The second is to remove the boards from the brackets. This you can do in any position. After that, you can get at all the screws. Failing that, find a way to drive out the pins while still on the truck, one guy did it with and air hammer, but be careful not to damage and expand the ends of the pins. They are a press fit into the lager center sections. If you need to rebuild your boards, then I have a play list that shows the whole process in excessive detail as I go about my old fart ways. Actually, they are serviceable. The only problem is that Ford doesn't sell the bushings. I have a whole play list on how to replace these bushings, in great detail, including how to set them up so that you can grease them to keep the road gunk out. @@oldfarthacks yes, you're right. It's falls under everything is serviceable, but few can service them vs the number of people that have the boards. I've torn the hinges down to see that the bushings are the problem, not the motors. Spraying them is pointless. Even adding grease zerks and greasing is next to pointless. Dirt gets in and destroys the bushings. It's surprising that some enterprising sole doesn't offer a service to rebuild the hinges to include customer serviceable parts. There's got to be millions of these out there (to include AMP boards).

Just replace the bushings. It's not that hard and the tools that you will need cost less than a new bracket. Even if you decide to buy a small hydraulic press, the tool cost will be less. The set of bushings costs around $40 this week. I have a play list that goes into great detail on how to replace these. One of them might be wired wrong, or one of the motors might have gone out. It’s also possible it just got stuck, try spraying a ton of wd40 everywhere to loosen up some of the gears
