Hooray you're back!! So lovely to see you and looking as beautiful as ever 😊. Your posts have helped me so much! Have been doing (my own clumsy version of) cgm and what a difference! Maybe I will be brave enough to post on Instagram one day. Lots of love from Scotland. Xx
Love it! I did this same routine the other day except added the bounce curl gel at the end. My results were AMAZING! I also had protein overload beforehand and that detox mask worked! Best hair day in a long time 🙌🏼😍
I never realized protein is a hug affect. 2 spots on my scalp have been itchy and dry for over a year. I've tried everything in the book. Going to try this now!!
Holy Hannah I have missed you! You're the only influencer I watch that not only teaches me about my hair, but also has enlightened me about what it means to be an ally. I wish we were irl friends.
Yayyy, you're back. Not sure if I can get bounce curl here in England but if I can I'll definitely get some, thanks Jannelle. Great tips and your hair looks amazing as always 🤩
Pls pls do more videos on protein overload! What can I do to fix protein overload In my hair ? I literally just learned ab it after doing extensive research! I used 30 second miracle water & it literally effed my hair up so bad! I think all the products I’m using are full of wayyy too much protein & now my hairs breaking off My hairs literally thinning it’s that damaged. I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong. The hair dye I was using was keratin infused. I now know my hairs suffering severely with protein overload & I now have crazy gray growth & need to dye my hair & im finding some dye & many hair products have protein in it. It’s pretty frustrating trying to find products that are safe. I know I need to clarify my whole head not just my scalp. I’ve been using way too much protein. I can’t even brush my hair it’s breaking off in little pieces so bad. I use all Aveda hair products bc it’s all natural & I think the damage remedy I’ve been using for years has protein in it. I’m so frustrated & need help! There’s a lot of misinfo online ab how good protein is for ur hair & with my personal experience it’s done nothing but damage my hair bc I don’t have a good balance of moisture. It says protein cakes on the hair & can buildup so moisture & other products can’t penetrate 😒🥺
You came back! I was so sad when found out your last video around two weeks ago and then saw your last video was months old. I've binged all your videos but most of the products you use I haven't been able to find here, also I'm low in cash, and I'm kind of lazy so I'll probably be unable to do a full routine, still I'll keep waiting for your videos! ❤️
That was from 'Little Women Atlanta', wasn't it? 🤣 Ha, you're too funny!! I missed you too, Jannelle!! My notifications were not the same without you and I'm SO glad you're back...... and I know I'm not the only one. 💜 Welcome back!! (Please don't ever leave us again!) 😁
This was awesome! Thanks so much. I have grays too, and thinner hair as I get older. It was helpful to have a video done by someone who also has some grays!
Welcome back! Nice to hear your joyful voice. I realize I need those root clips! They are not linked and Amazon has way too many choices. Please let us know which ones you recommend. My super fine hair won’t work with the fuzzy ones.
I'm so over the moon you are back. I thought you'd left us forever 😫 Thanks as always for the amazing tips, also for making us smile. I hope things are well with you xx
So happy to see you back...your hair has grown!!! Great video...one of your best talents. You’re really great at this 💜💙🖤💚 (I picked up the colors in your curtain)
I don't even have this problem as my hair eats up protein like candy but I just bloody loved watching this video and I've subscribed so I can watch more! 😄😄
Got protein overload, couldn’t deal with it, chopped my hair, still was dealing with it(I didn’t cut it all off, big mistake), few months pass and I cut it all off and I go almost bald and it seems to be gone, but now I’m traumatized to use products even if it has no protein I just feel like my hair will start to break off. It sucks I don’t know what to do. I don’t want to go through that again it sucked so much. The cleansing conditioner you listed looks good but has aleo juice, I heard that has a little protein, it’s so hard to find things with absolutely none, but still good vid
I did!!! We moved from jersey city to Philadelphia! New ted a yard and didn’t want to have to fork over a limb for it 😂 worked out because we loveeee it here!
Hello- Thank you so so much for your videos, sharing your joyfulness and all the great info! I'm still recovering from DC damage and I can't figure out this protein/moisture balance. My curls seem soft, limp and lack definition & hold but when I test a hair strand it snaps pretty quickly. So I can't figure out if I need protein, moisture or would benefit from an Olaplex treatment. Nervous to overdo it in any direction.
This is great! Do you find that certain types of clips work better for root clipping. I have high porosity, 2C, fine hair that ai am finally not straightening. Need all the tips I can get.
I personally love the metal clips, long or short! I think they have the strongest hold! The long ones are the best for bigger clumps of hair, shorter ones more so for individual curls!
Glad to see you! If you're up for making content about curly/wavy and transitioning to gray, that would be awesome. I'm 2A/B/C but my grays are coming in kinky curly!
love this video! i've been having the same 2 issues - scalp build-up and needing moisture. i went to the bounce curl website to purchase the products. but i can't find the product ingredients listed anywhere...?? am i just missing it, or are they not there? even the photos of the products don't help - the resolution is too low to read the fine print, i.e., the ingredients!
hi question from the new girl! Protein overload: just products or could diet affect this? My waves are sometimes stringy, but sometimes I do get pretty spiral clumps. Thing is, I do strength sports so I need a protein rich diet.
