How To Fix PS4 Error CE-34878-0 In 2024 - PS4 Crashing And Freezing Fix (Easy Method) 

The safe mode update only seems to stall the Ce-34878-0 for a few days for me then it's starts again like 2 mins into my game I get blue screen

Same here… games run for about 5 minutes and then the error code comes up… I have done this steps, even reinstalling the OS… nothing fix it…

The only issue I am having is with Uncharted 4. I had no issues until the game updated. So I would assume with any game these “errors” happen to. Or theres an update. It seems intentional. Only if it’s delisted from the PS4 store it will have issues. Which is actually not a smart move. The PS3 store still works, and games are fine. The PS4 & Pro are not outdated. The Switch cant even compare to PS4 games or come anywhere near the power of the Pro. I get tired of seeing comments upgrade to PS5. If there is nothing wrong with your PS4 console, and have a collection of games. There is truly no reason to upgrade to PS5 still. There are no exclusive titles still! So to me it seems intentional. There was an ad when Uncharted 4 stopped working. Available for PS5 & a QR code for $50 off to trade in your system. On the home screen. It would be better to restore the database without losing anything. If that doesn’t work shut off wifi delete everything for the game. Play from the disc or download and don’t update it.

The only solution for this problem is to deprive the ps4 of any possibility to connect to the internet then delete the error file and start the game. And everything will work but you don't have any online possibilities. This is the only possible solution. The sad fact is that my console like yours is actually outdated, so to speak ready for trash and I don't have money for ps5.
