For me there’s just an x on the game and it won’t even let me install the actual game and I’ve cleaned my disk rebuilt data base done the primary os4 thing and even the licensing thing but it still won’t fix it any other solutions

Me too ! I plat a game , delete it , come back and i cant install it and it pops up ce 30005 8 like what ? I looked into it on the ps4 reddit and they said i needed a new disc since the disc was fried ! ( btw the game was borderlands 3 ) .

What about when you bought a game off the Playstation store? My nba 2k23 just stopped working and got an error. I tried rebuilding the database and tried downloading it, and it just says "calculating" then after a minute says "cannot download" & "error has occurred (CE-30005-8)" it's making me sad /:

@damonrainey7051 Hey, I just initialized my ps4, and it worked for me, so put it on safe mode and do the second to the last. Hopefully, you have your latest updated to the game. Idk if I'd recommend doing it now because if it's corrupted, it could mess up the data, but I'm not too sure. Hope it does work for you too, though
