Thanks for this video, I was wondering what was wrong with the wiper on my Punto too but it seem to come back to life over time itself haha. But now I know why obviously I was lucky and the connection came back haha. I have the same problem too several wires broken my middle rear brake light doesn't work now. But should get it fixed with the help of this thanks.
Hello I've never worked on 1.9 Turbo model however I have done a complete engine rebuild on the XUD9 non turbo engine so the video linked below might be able to help you. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BZ234zn4Bf8.html
@@TheZXGuy awesome thank you very much the engine is identical to the one you are working on the engine I have here I'm glad I found your channel you are a life saver 😁
Glad the sticker is gaining some interest then I need to drive it more but working a lot means I don't really feel like doing anything afterwards 🤣. Hope your enjoying the channel.
really sorry about that for me I found that bit quite easy due to not fully pulling the wires out completely however all I can really do is apologise for that.
Update mine, started with the wiper, then top light above the boot, then the boot doesn't open, and the heating element went on the back glass, not to mention the brake lights every time it rains, now I'm just having to look for a electrician to sort it out because I need to sell the car by December 🥲
Can you help ?? My boot actuator doesn't work. Can somebody tell me the colours of the wires for the boot actuator , I haven't looked but I'm assuming the green is earth ? Black ground , red live ... ?? There's a few more from what I can remember??? Anyone got wiring diagram for actuator . Before I make a start
Really sorry im unable to help as I would just use a multi meter and just check for power and ground. If you ground 1 wire of your multi meter you can do a continuity test to find the earth. sorry im unable to be more help
@@TheZXGuy hi just to let you know I fixed it in the end. The power to the actuator at boot hinge in rubber was broken. I connected it still no luck. I had boot light on and the boot open warning light came onto dash board, so I assumed the fuse was OK.. After lots of testing I found the fuse was blown. Swapped it and boot now works. The fuse was behind glove box left hand side 4th 1 up . Happy days
