Amazing video and great work! So tired of seeing sites saying to inject epoxy which not address the damaged wood underneath, or harmful affects with living in moldy wood. This video addresses all the stages ,and gave me great insight to fixing my slide out wall that I have to replace before this fall. I had to replace the interior wall but had to direction how to replace on the exterior that still showed delamination. Now I know how to tackle the exterior wall! Keep up the great work! Rvs are made so cheaply it's so easy to get water damage and delamination. It's great to know how to fix it all! Thank you so much for sharing.

I been watching you're videos and wow!! You're amazing doing it all you're self, hands down you run circles around allot of men doing that type work !!! I'm soetch less I have a 25foot terry I need to replace all vinyle and some frame areas but I have no clue where to start but watching you're videos. It's giving me hope lol. Awesome tutorial. My only question is When working on the sidewall could u have completely painted the epoxy in one step vs steps 2 and 3 with tubing, if u had a helper? I have a similar section to repair on my c class.

First of all - you kick ass... Second i'm in a situation where I need to get a camper water tight before winter and I don't have much time. The roof needs a patch. A slide out wall needs new studs and sealing. Among other things the list is huge. My question is how do you seal a slide-out? It's an aluminium panel camper. A lot of water came in through the slide out and the front corner roof seam. Is there a process you follow to make it manageable or just go at it?

That’s one of those things where you just have to go at it. You can try to patch the roof and seal from the outside, and stop the water coming in until you can tear it all out and rebuild in the spring. Send me some pictures and I’ll give you some advice on what materials you’ll need!

Hi, we love your videos, the best we've seen and so helpful! We've a TT with aluminum studs and a few different places of water damage and delamination. My first question is, on the back panel (maybe 3 ft wide) can we just take it off and glue it to the paneling apart as you did with your front piece, and then reattach it? Second question, are you using the same epoxy on the front panel as you did with the tubing on the sides? I take it you can mix this epoxy in parts, as needed. Thank you so much, we can't wait for day for on your newest series!

Another question, we ordered a few things off of your amazon site but we cannot find EXTERIOR white screws, are you using the interior for both?

Yes, you can take the rotten piece off and then just glue a new piece on! Yes-same epoxy! I’m going to test out using contact cement with the camper I’m working on now. If it holds, that’ll be much easier than messing with epoxy, so I’ll keep you updated!

And yes-the epoxy (I have it linked in my Amazon storefront in the description) is pre measured. It’s a 1 to 1 pump ratio, so it takes the guess work out of weather or not you mixed the right amount

Which screws do you recommend for the exterior?

My question is on how you got the epoxy into the syringe and the tubing. Did you open the syringe and pour it into the syringe and then put the plunger back? Was it very thick? Did you have to thin it out some to get it to flow through the tubing? Also was filling a 60 ml syringe enough epoxy to get enough through the tubing? Did you have to fill the syringe more than once to get enough epoxy to come out the end of the tubing?

I have delamination and a 2 x 2 nothing from the top or the sides don't think it's water issue it just seems to be not binding to the glue anymore

In hindsight, would it have been more practical to use the old fiberglass as a template and just cut new sheets of filon out of a roll? That's what I'm debating right now. 30 feet of Filon runs at around $800-$1,000 dollars, but the bonus is that you have fresh fiberglass. :)

Not really, the old fiberglass wasn’t damaged, just dirty. You’ll be creating more work for yourself by cutting out a new piece, but some people do prefer that. My client didn’t have the budget for that, so I saved $1000 by cleaning and reusing it 😂

Honestly every camper is different, depending on where the damage is. If I remember correctly in this scenario, I glued the panel inside and then epoxied the outside together. Just use lots of wood blocks and don’t clamp too hard (you don’t want to break your interior paneling)
