Nice. But Windows reenables the stupid secure boot all the time. Is there a way to prevent it from doing that?

Welcome, on Acer laptop model Aspire: If you want to change the Boot Mode from UEFI to Legacy: go to Security tab and set the Supervisor Password then disable the Secure Boot. Don't forget the password you enter! You can delete it once you have made your changes. Press the F10 key and select Yes to save the changes and exit.
