I also noticed in the week 2 fight, you can leave the middle platform up where the conflux spawns to disrupt the boss. While still building the platform with the plate you have to capture. This led to me pushing the phases a bit quicker and I did not experience any issues so far. Might be worth a try for some to see if it makes a difference.
@@tobberh he showed the fix for that the red shield don't show up but if you stand there the timer goes untill the weakness shield appears mine completely does nothing boss is soft locked and no way progress
@@darrenhenderson7076 None of the fixes he showed in the video worked, boss was just stuck behind red shield. Had to suicide and start over, but at least I managed to wail hard on it and 2 phase it on last attempt. Spend the whole evening on this shit. Seems like Bungie has no QA left on Destiny 2.
@@darrenhenderson7076 nope. I had the glitch with the ''inactive'' plate. stood on it, completed it. got the prompt to ''break the shield'' but no crystal to pop the shield appears. every single fucking run.

This wouldn't be so annoying if the mission didn't take over an hour just to get to the boss fight. Or if I could just resume at the encounter I was at if I leave when it's glitched. And this is just THE 1ST STEP out of 22?!? I'm so fucking done with this mission and this game.
I’m running into the issue where the objective says to weaken the shield but there is absolutely no triangle to pop. Happened once so I died on purpose. Happened again logged the fuck off.
@@1katndahat That’s what I thought originally. But nope. I got him to half health first damage phase still happened. Did it with a team now too. Nearly half health on expert, no node. Died, exactly same type of damage, it worked. It’s a bug/glitxh
@@mahmer09 yeah I've read about the glitch, but it's not getting fixed until 4 more weeks after this next reset when they are going to nerf the auto rifle for that mission. Cuz it's WAY over powered, I just hope it doesn't keep happening cuz I want it!! 😂

Just happened to me and I was trying to collect the chests and progress the story but not doing the entire mission over again now and there's no checkpoints still
For anyone trying to prevent this glitch of spawning outside the boss area, but either pre-die before you start the fight.... or just stand still for about 10 seconds before you start.
@@jrodplays nope, I had to shut it down, bedtime was way past due! 😂 I even brought a friend in just to help and it still kept happening, then I found this, after a long search while we was still in game. I just need to figure out what I can use for the most DPS so I don't get locked out again.. 🤷 but thank you for making this, there isn't anything out there besides reddit posts saying it's bugged and not going to be fixed for 5 weeks from this last reset since that's when the gun is getting nerfed cuz it's WAY to our favor! 🤣😬
I've tried everything and more. encountered all the bugs you show and more. ran this solo flawless until the boss several times only for it to glitch out, even when bursting his health down within the first phase. I appreciate the vid, you probably helped some people who had some minor bugs. but they multiplied after the reset today. there are MORE bugs locking the encounter now. CLASSIC BUNGO
Can you describe what the new bugs are instead of just stating that there are more?? Cause that's not helping anybody to figure out fixes. Please identify the issues instead of just saying there are more, that would help

@@ginorvdw it's not about running a help desk, it's about being more clear about the problems you are experiencing, it would help others who are experiencing the same problems realize that it's not just them, and it would also help someone who has a fix to your issue to help you out. Just be more helpful other than saying things like "there more problems than just those ones" and walking away leaving the rest of us to wonder what other issues we might run into like you say you did, but don't seen to be able to elaborate upon. At this point I'm thinking the other issues you were running into were just user error. But congrats on finally getting that run.

Took 118 minutes to do.. most of the time on the final boss. Did not get the triangle for many rounds. BUT it was because i did to little damage because when i did alot of damage one round, the next one i did (had to wipe) everything worked and i could do multiple damage phases. It helped for me to use liniear fusion rifle and the arc warlock super :)
The only solution is to do as much damage as possible the second time you have to break the crystal, in which case the boss keeps attacking you but you will have two crystals to break. So that's it, do as much damage as possible, you must take away two life bars. You have to be careful because many enemies appear on the platforms that he is on, including minotaurs.
I used the sleeper stim and kept going for all the crits i could. I didnt stop at any bar. Thankfully you can do damage past that. So i just forced it to past 50% to bypass any potential softlock and got my new exotic
That's kind of what I ran into on the first run that I couldn't figure out. Although I didn't try to go back and build the middle platform to see if I could disrupt the boss again. So maybe try that if it happens again.
If it happens again. Check which side the antenna is on. Build the platforms on the opposite side. Then build them back to the antenna. Try standing in the circle even if it is lit. It should start counting up, and progress the fight.
@@jrodplays nope. I did about 20% damage to the first run. told me to build the other side. Then I did. Now there's no 4 sided pyramid to break to start the damage phase.
I died in front of a non active portal on the left side, both minotaurs were on that side. Spawned back in on the other side of the arena. minotaurs wouldnt leave the side I died on.

That is the strat. Do less than 50% of damage first run so red walls don't activate. Then you only need the one green you already have for the next cycle. No Minitaurs needed. 2nd run, take him to final stand at 25%. You only need a blue if he teleports to the other side of a red wall, but no need to get any more plates.
There is a hard lock I ran into this week with a barrier wall in the initial traversal area after you fall down in the orb. It's at the spot where you drop down with the moving wall.
@@sanghelli53 Did it happen after you opened the secret chest, that requires you to shoot small plates while a timer is running? If so, there should be a portal open on the left side of the area, opposite side of the orb.
Yeah. That first one isn’t a soft lock but it can be confusing for sure. But the second one is SO annoying that you have to burn the boss. Took me a few runs to figure it out. I’m not going to do it again until they fix it. Before Final Shape came out, I said this would be my last season. All the drama. The false hype. The name getting changed to Guardian after 10+ years? It feels like the right choice.
They changed my name after 10 years, granted I guess I broke CoC but still, they even took my name change I was holding on to also just in case it happened again, yeah took my name 3 times, of course my name being "that_Fucr" 🤷🤣 but right when I was like, ok not again, I'll use my name change to something else just to find out they to that too..

Got the boss to the 2nd phase with kill walls, had an extra green key, killed both minotaurs, only to realize I couldn't pick up the blue keys and got stuck, since there was no way to drop the green one. I died, got rezzed in another quadrant, socketed the green key into an empty thing, and was relieved- except both blue keys were in the middle platform, and I wasn't able to get back to the middle. Died countless times, never rezzed back mid. I was trying different things for over 30 minutes, gave up, and reset the mission. Just allow us the possibility to swap keys, or at least drop them somehow. So frustrating.
@@iMoo1124 Definitely frustrating for sure, all the time wasted. Is there not a checkpoint where you can return to orbit and load back in to the boss encounter? I never even thought to try in my run because I got it fixed after the fact.
@@jrodplays no, there are no checkpoints, unfortunately I went back to orbit, started up the mission again, and had to start from the beginning Speeding through solo took me about 35 mins, skipping all the secret chests, and that's with Eager Edge Felt like the last boss took up 1/3 of the total time of the mission lol
This stupid bug ruined a flawless solo run as his shield bugged out half way through. Thankfully when I did it the next day it was fine and got the flawless triumph. Hopefully Bungie fixes this quickly.
This gave me exactly what I’ve been going through! I get to the second damage phase but can never get it down far enough! All the minotaur will spawn during the second phase for me. So I can’t do enough damage. It a stupid encore, why they wouldnt add phases so you can do more damage is stupid! This act is shit so far!
Mine softlocke on second phase of damage after breaking shield the boss dont move and even tho sheild is down he wont take any damage at all had to kill myslef and start over did this over and over had to reset xbox x for it to go on futher into boss fase never had it do it after
This is still a problem and first time I tried to do flawless the minitor spawned on the wrong side of the barrier, (wasn’t teleporting over either) and completely screwed me.
i stood in the red thing, but there is no crystal to shoot after, so the boss is stuck within his shield and the red shield.. happened twice.. both times i wanted to do a flawless run.. thx bungie
You cut the part out at 8:52 on how you managed to get the boss unstuck from the left side to the right >:Y. I followed you guide to a T, cuz I was suck on the exact spot you are showing, and nothing came up. The boss is not spawning the white breakable Chrystals to continue the phase, nor active the next phase. The right platform isn’t active, the middle am won’t activate. This didn’t help since you cut on how you did it.
@@xrainbowdawnx1396 I actually showed that I stepped on the empty plate earlier on and it started counting up. Later in the video I was stuck in an unfixable state because I didn't do enough damage to the boss. So I had to wipe. That's the part I cut out. Me jumping off the map.
I died during the boss fight by falling of the edge. It respawned me in the room with the 4 portals but none of them are active so I was completely stuck. This is the second time Ive gotten to the boss and haven't been able to complete the mission. This game is trash
This have happend to me 3 times so far(the one that weak point does not exist and the only thing i could do was wipe) 😅😅😅 thats enough destiny for today
so the minotaur that drops the item I need to open the teleport to the side that has the plate. died in an area I cannot get to without the item it drops.
@@winters_rath8561 Yes. I took steps to make sure it didn't bug. Used a bait and switch strand GL and my Super to bring the boss health down as much as possible the first phase. And I left the middle platform built so I can get to the disrupt conflux quickly. And I had no soft lock issues yesterday.
@@gavinhubsch2660 I ran into that too. The only way I have be able to progress it. Was to rebuild all the platforms, and it let me step on the invisible plate to push the phase.
5 out of 6 times I tried this mission it has bugged out and won’t let me finish the game. Red walls come up and it says to shoot the shield there is no shield. No place for me to cap nothing to do. This mission is not worth it. NOT WORTH IT !!!!!
@@jrodplays I did over and over again. It worked 1 time. I got the gun now I can’t get the catalyst because it keeps bugging. I’ll wait a week or 2 before trying again. Thanks though.
