How to fix sony xperia phones stuck on xperia logo or bootloop problem working in 2018 

I just got the same issue with my Xperia Z3 and tried all tutorials like button combinations stuff but nothing had worked until I downloaded the Xperia Companion and followed these steps. During the process, when the software was reparing my smartphone, It constantly got unrecongnized and recognized by my PC so what it did was to follow some button combinations again to manually reset the phone (Including the yellow little button next to the SD card slot to reset battery) and then I tried again and worked. No my phone is charging correctly. I will use it after it has reached the 100% of battery charge. In other words, if this tutorial does not work at first then you should try to first manually reset your device using other tutorials and after that, try this one. Hope it works!

Worked for my Sony Xperia XZ1c. Only I had disconnected my phone for whole time, I connected it at 4:28 of video (when I connected it sooner, app wanted me to unlock my phone, which I wasn' able cause it did boot loop) by the instructions of Xperia Companion app on screen. Also, first attempt failed, for three hours Xperia app stucked, looked as 5:30 in video. I used CTRL+SHIFT+ESC to open Task manager where I closed Xperia Companion. Then I started it again, went through same process as video shows, connected my phone at 4:28 and then it worked same as in video. Then I add my same Google account and restoring backup started (even if only some of my data, I still lost many of them, sadly)

The rapairing tool worked at first with my xperia Z5, but after 20 seconds, during the settings like country and language, it shut down itelf and the bootloop started again.

Bro..my z2 is brick.. I'm i tried using this method.. The thing is when it tell u the steps for holding down volume down key for then connect to pc..after 10 seconds i get notification from pc saying "USB not recognized" how to fix that.. Please tell me

i tried to reset phone by using volume up and power button the problem with my xperia z5p is that it keeps bootlooops in sony logo when i connect usb cable to it so that the pc companion is not recognizing it completely

I tried to simply restart my phone because often this problem goes away on its own for a bit. I’m worried about using your method with the software repair because I don’t want to lose my data. Maybe I will try to transfer all my data to an SD card first then factory reset or do software repair?

By holding the volume down my Sony Xperia Z2 device doesn't connect to the pc. Instead it just kept charging!!! Any solution for that?

I have xperia xz. My brother accidentally put the sim card without the tray. Little did i know that he forced to get the simcard using nail pusher.
